Chief Henry Gonzales deserves thanks and to all the law enforcement people out there who run towards danger to keep us safe! May God bless and keep you in these perilous times!
This was not Chief Dominguez's first time rushing into a dangerous situation. On October 12, 1999, then Deputy Dominguez and the entire Atascosa County law enforcement community was tested like never before when a lone gunman, Jeremiah Engelton lured officers to an ambush in rural Atascosa County. ACSO Deputies Mark Stephenson and Thomas Monse as well as DPS Trooper, Terry Miller were savagely murdered. Two other lawmen were injured as well. Engelton was eventually cornered and took his own life. The painful lessons of that horrific night, I believe, helped Sheriff David Soward and Chief Dominguez as well as other officers who were there that night avoid another tragedy in the ultimate capture of this dangerous fugitive. Good work officers.

Mostly, because the dash-cam video was just released to the public and this event was a big deal, not just in Atascosa County but throughout Central Texas. Also, because Sue Calberg always does a great and thorough job of covering news events in Atascosa County. Thank you Sue!!

God says through scripture that revenge is his. And this seems to be it. And since he's a loving God, I have no doubts that those innocent lives he has their souls in his peace. It's just that with our human limitations or biased, we don't tend to see things like that.
@@bangelo8067 So god kills your loved one, so that only HE can get revenge? What a dumb god you believe in. Ah the ol' "there must be hidden blessings". You are the type that disgusts everyone when they say that to cancer patients.
