I feel like they knew they couldn't do extra content with the budget they had so they put it into words, which sucks but it definitely added to the story! If they ever do another Nier game that'd be freaking amazing! Sadly I doubt it T.T especially under square enix

However that also means ... most defensive chips are useless other than Offensive heal, which can be used to sustain berserk. You can see that he minimizes OS chips, keeping only the HUD elements he needs, and go hyper offensive on chips and all of his weapons are crit weapons.
@@90Rush nah dude he has to have some sort of heal otherwise he can't sustain A2 berserk mode. Also, it doesn't matter if it's vh or not. You get one shot in normal in this quest because everyone is at least 40 levels above you.

Thanks! The first boss is one of the toughest parts, its spider assists are maybe the most dangerous enemy. If you ever give it another go and breach past that point you're on good pace to make progress.
Thanks for this video and sharing your config. I optimized your chip setup and generally looked at how you approached this as a foundation. Beat it at the easy difficulty. Despite your chip setup not being the most optimal, it's really amazing you beat this on Very Hard. Kudos.

after nearly 3 years i bought the dlc and wanted to play it again from the beginning with the cosmetics without oneshotting everything. but to do so, I need these damn fruits. i defeated the tank and got the cosmetic rewards but no fruits so I have to farm excellent chips in order to beat this challenge fully......goddamit why is it so tedious ;( why can t i justbegin a new game with all the cosmetics? this dlc sucks so bad

It's good. You might be better off replacing ranged atk up with shockwave, I didn't experiment with it enough. I don't have close to optimal chips here so no extra space for it.
Crazy damage. A2 is way stronger than 2B in terms of raw power and i love it. Finished the game. Ending a-c and some fake ones. I dont know what to do next. Im not really a collecter of weapons or such. I just wanna grind a dungeon all day long to reach maxlvl but there arent any and the story is too heavy for me to replay it.
Theres the golden bunny you can grind, only about a dozen trips w/ 9S and your at max level, go the carnival area and he's that statue you see at the start if you didnt know
How are you doing such ridiculous levels of damage? I was also at lv 99 with all max weapons and using Taunt 6 with 2 weapon attack up 6 stacked (so 100% increase in weapon damage) and even bloody charge attack 6 and STILL I couldn't do nearly as much damage as you. Berserk mode makes that big a difference? And why are you using Iron Pipe lol?
Charge attack chips aren't ideal as you cant afford to sit still for too long. Critical Chips + Crit weapons are a must. Ancient Overlord/Iron Pipe/Fang of the twins/Cypress Stick. - Damage output is ridiculous on criticals
Good shit man. Been trying to get this for weeks without chips, or berserk very hard. Adam and eve are fucking shitters. I used reset, and damage absorb abuse for my V hard berserk versjon. Idk why I did not use overclock, would have made my life way easier.
Very impressive making it that far without chips, I don't know how you would deal with adam&eve without them. Maybe requires smart use of pod programs and alternating between multiple. Adams final form in base game alone is a pain as some moves are too fast to react to at close range. These two wont just hand out openings to be attacked often. At least you can punish the shield moves more often than others. Overclock gives you windows to attack and I guess you're expected to have it here.
Taunt increases damage dramatically. You can see it effect the enemies when their heads turn red and steam; both you and the enemies do increased damage. By default it's ~150%, but his Taunt+6 chips makes it 400% damage for both parties.
It's weird but I'm wearing better chips than the description, I finished this challenge on easy, normal and hard mode, now that I'm trying Very Hard they avoid my attacks way more than on this video, making it harder by far than what I see here, usually Eve kills me after dodging making me look dumb, are you sure the difficulty was set to "Very Hard Mode"? I'm also using Shockwave instead of Ranged Attack Up...
I abused the fact that charging a pod program slows all enemies down. Enemies almost never evade if you attack while they're in a slow effect. Thats usually what I'm doing whenever I attack here. Shockwave is the better choice indeed. Nice job on finishing it! Adam & Eve are really dangerous. I'd mostly wait for your turn using overclock.. Just trying to take on Adam in a challenge run aggressively is a massive pain.
As Zaarock said, you can see when they're using the bullet-time effect by watching for the charge Area of Effect circle for Mirage under them, but it never comes out. Charging a pod gives you a good ~3 seconds of a slowdown effect on all enemies, and it helps with them dodging/not hitting you a lot. For Adam&Eve, you can go into Debug Mode and just practice dodging their attacks for a while if you want. Eve's are a little deceptive, yeah, best simple advice I can give is to make sure you are on the outside of it's range, and then dodge out of the range entirely. Your goal should be to trigger Overclock, so you can safely attack. The biggest threats are the dash-grab and the jump-punch grab, that he dodges in this video, they're very fast and kill you through berserk. Honestly, my advice is to go into the fight with 3x P Shield and Evasive Systems. That deals with almost every attack, except the throws. Then you can overclock with impunity and do damage as long as it doesn't expose you to situations where you can't react to throws that they might do.
Wow thanks for that Pod charge advice, I was really losing my mind here, if something makes "Very Hard Mode" so difficult is the fact that they'll spam evasion everytime you want to hit them with combos, it got me killed many times since I was stubborn on trying to melee mobs that wont stop with the DODGE skills, I'll definetly try it again with this method. And about Eve, that's exactly what was happening to me, I was using overclock but they'd still react sometimes towards it, a thing that never happened on previous difficulties, at least not to me.
Nesouk Kefka Hack using alot of stuns and reset/overclock. The time limit freezes during hacking. its possible but takes longer than an hour.. could bring MShield Pshiled to reposition
If you drop to 0 health in berserk mode you get knocked out of berserk instead of dying, just like other difficulties. You can use healing items during the hitpause to never get knocked out which is really silly, but items are unusable in these arenas.
I recommend trying this level regardless of the challenge, its the most fun part of the game for combat imo. You get to face most enemy types and can fight them using all abilities without being overpowered. In the base game by the time you've unlocked everything you just steamroll things and couldnt roll back your level.
It's funny you say that because that was my biggest issue with the base game. Like, even the final boss didn't have the final boss feel that most Platinum games have. I really dislike how the difficulty is all over the place and heavily depending on chips that you can actually permanently lose. I liked all the story stuff but after 60+ hours of the strange balancing and unlimited healing items it just started to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Which is extra frustrating since I was looking forward to this game so much, I was damn near certain it would be one of my most absolute favorite games but it just wasn't for me. I definitely plan to go back and play it one more time from the beginning but it'll probably be a while before I get around to it. Also, I bought the JP version when I was in Japan so I need to get JP PSN cash card to actually even buy the DLC lol
On Very Hard, maxed last stand is the same as berserk, except it takes up 21 chip points and can't expire. On every other difficulty, health matters so it's a bit more complicated.
The item lowers your level by 10. So by beating this and the desert trial you have full control over your level/experience. Can do things like NG+ starting at level 1 or have fights in chapter select be more balanced by changing to the right level.
I tried to do this at lvl 95&everything one shot me dude. Plus I didn't have the best chips but I can work on that. Do I have to have a certain health pool in order to survive a hit? I was playing on easy&still got one shot😂.
What he meant was that the autochips that are available on easymode cant be used, and the "auto use item" chip does nothing. All other chips still work

Actually I had no problem with it, it runs smooth 60fps with 1440p and Reshade + SweetFX. Actually looks much better than the ps4 version.

The item lowers your level by 10. So by beating this and the desert trial you have full control over your level/experience. Can do things like NG+ starting at level 1 or have fights in chapter select be more balanced by changing to the right level.
I tried to do this at lvl 95&everything one shot me dude. Plus I didn't have the best chips but I can work on that. Do I have to have a certain health pool in order to survive a hit? I was playing on easy&still got one shot😂.

Just auto attack/item which you can only use on normal or below

After u beat it once, ur allowed to use chips later?
What he meant was that the autochips that are available on easymode cant be used, and the "auto use item" chip does nothing. All other chips still work

crit+, cypress stick is also really good because of that, crits do +5 times more damage than a normal hit
Just like Graphix Cat said, both his weapons are small swords with crit+, which makes the enemies die a lot faster

I've been using the pipe as my primary weapon from the start because its the first one I got to level up to 4. it has served me very well indeed!
