That last episode is just wholesome and heart warming. "Some people just want someone to talk to", indeed. I realized it myself, because i like talking to other people and there are some, that just in a need to venting all of what bothers them and all their dayly stress, and some, that just need a friend, who cares and shares something in common. The “Food in Store” bit got me on a personal level. It happens so regularly. I worked at a GameStop in a mall that was right across from a hot pretzel shop and down from the food court. One guy brought in a BAG of sloppy tacos from Taco Bell, and was eating one as he walked in. I told him we didn’t allow food in the store, and his response was, “I’m almost done.” Before I could do anything, he’d dripped sour cream, cheese, and meat all over the floor, then picked up 3 game display boxes, wiping grease all over them, in addition to a headset box that also got rubbed down. I told him to get out with the food, so he gets mad and decides to drop the wrapper (that had all the gunk from his disgusting food all over it) into the discount game bin as he left. How people can be that gross in public is just unreal.
Had a late 30s woman like that in the store I work last year. Apparently after one thing and another we became friends and now she's like a sugar monmy to me
Man, Theo is so good. That last one always warms my heart. Sometimes people are just going through shit and cope by lashing out at others. That's not to excuse their behaviour, the things Ben's character does are horrible - but sometimes all that person needs is a friend and someone to talk to.
To think that alan went against santa himself for rowan, because he was his friend… only for the events of the recent skits to happen. Alan actually couldn’t take it any more and left
Didn't they used to use an actual store when it was play tech? I swear I used to see a ton of real products on the shelves lol... or maybe it's just that good 😂
The skit “Ghost Service” perfectly encapsulates Home Depot or Lowe’s. There’s 5,000 employees around and I can barely find anyone out on the floor to help me
Never have I ever seen an IT guy with such high level of speechcraft. I'm still impressed that Theo perfectly handled two biggest jerkidiots of the history of Bored 😂
To be fair it seems like Ben's biggest issue is that he is lonely and wants a friend. Cause his attitude completely changed with how Theo handled him and talked to him.
@@mariaheilskov6741 I was highlighting Theo's incredible way of solving the problem just by talking it out, hence speechcraft. Alan handled Ben successfully, this is true, but it was not the same way as Theo did it.
Next Christmas Rowan is gonna get coal because Santa would’ve kidnapped Allan, rowans going to lose it and then Allan will say “you’ve done this, see what you’ve done, my actions prevented this from happening, your on the naughty list now” and then a supernatural deity will kill Santa and he’ll get replaced by another.
I applaud Alan's decision to give Rowan gifts. Dunno if it's canon, but Rowan saved all their lives during the Halloween One Shot! Rowan came through for them when they needed him. That said, I ain't getting on Santa's sh*t list, good luck, Alan 😬
I feel like the guy in the ghost employee episode was so nice. Like once je saw an employee even though they were dissapearing he still said "Hey sorry um" like dude

19:09 Perfect time to say "Was that so hard?" I've had customers do this kind of thing to me before. They spend five minutes asking where to find something, I tell them I either don't know where they are or I at least lead them in a general direction. Then they act like I'm the asshole and find it themselves eight seconds later.
True story : A salesman who learned some buzzwords tried to impress me and my collegue with his "knowledge". We convinced him that if he Shwartzed his files, (we had a Shwartz mustard bottle on our table) his laptop will go much faster. He nodded like he knew what we were talking about, thanked us and left, very happy.
Holy crap, Theo, that’s how you do it! Wow, I wasn’t expecting that outcome, with “kungfu retail,” as the name, I expected that it would be Rowan and they would end up arguing going back and forth like he did with the Karen episode arguing over protocol and such, but that charisma is too high for even Ben and that’s such a kind and cool IT guy, I would totally befriend Theo! The cashiers and such aren’t used to kindness in my location and so they don’t make small talk and any kindness that is shown is almost alien to them, told someone they had a pretty name once and they just stared at me and then started scanning and then like an awkward feeling, like you could feel a pin drop a mile away with how silent it got, that its almost robotic! He’s really kind in the skits and he has a way with words and he cuts right to the source of the matter, without insulting the person, he knew he had no one to game with but rather than putting him on the spot, he told Ben he understood and invited him to be friends with and game alongside him! (Edit: go give Hamish some love through Theo now or Hamish will plan his revenge one day, I foresee it 😂)

The 'Food in store' skit is like a horror movie 😱
It was genuinely distressing
The whole time I was saying oh no he won't, that's nasty....😮😮😮
