Dev team should make an option where you can Delete the photos (in Bulk) used to make the timelapse video so you don't run out of storage space on the iphone. Just my two cents iTwe4kz
This is a brilliant feature for those of use that us the camera on our iPhone's to the fullest. I actually do all my vlogs via my iPhone 5s and this feature, is going to be as fun as the slow-mo they added in iOS 7. :)

I have an app that uses time lapse. I left it on all night one day because I fell asleep and it did last me. The screen dims and the camera keeps taking pictures but I got a beautiful video of the sun rising.

Nice Vid man! How big are the Videos? For Example if youre filming about 12hrs?
When I upload my time lapses from my iPhone, or even copy them to my computer and then upload them, they appear a little grainy on RUclips. Is there a step I am missing to get the videos to be clear like when I view them on my system?
Does the reverse time-lapse part of iOS 8? Or you had to do some video editing?

I used the same iPhone 5s on iOS 8 but my time-lapse videos are terribly pixelated when uploaded to RUclips! I uploaded 1080 but it renders ugly. Any trick?

Sometimes the quality of the video shot is affected badly, but its good to see that time lapsing on the iPhone 5S's camera is not that bad at all.
