Mercury AVATOR, more than just electric motors, a genuine eco-system presented at Boot 2024

When it unveiled its very first electric motor, the Avator, at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) in early 2022, American motor manufacturer Mercury Marine may have given the impression, at first, that it was developing a new range of outboard motors to complement its traditional range. This is partly true, and partly false, as Mercury was initiating the development of a complete eco-system dedicated to the energy transition, including batteries, chargers and controls.
