- When your pool closes down and you've got nowhere to swim..... BUILD YOURSELF A POOL!!
I had so much fun building this pool out of wooden pallets! The cost was cheap because we had most of the materials available at home! Shoutout to my family for jumping onboard with this CRAZY idea! And a special thanks to James for teaching me how to use a drill hahahaha!

THE MISSION:
Thanks to Jesus we all have a light to shine into the world, and we get the divine opportunity to shine our lights together!
What would happen if we stopped underestimating our influence, & started living out in the light? How much brighter would our world be if you understood how bright your life really is? How many people would be touched by your light if you chose to shine it?

NOT ONLY IS SHE BEAUTIFUL BUT VERY SKILLED ENGINEER.
KEEP THAT CONTAGIOUS SMILE.
IT'S PRICELESS.
I got my head checked out and I'm going to build a pool. Amazing work!
don't put your self down, you are learning, it might be clumsy at first but over time you will get faster. love you video.
I've been putting up an awful 14ft round pool for years. I think this year I'm going to take the plunge lol 😂 pun intended. Looks great, I reckon your next one will be bigger and better, everyone loves a sequel
You have such beautiful energy! And you’ve inspired me to take action and build my own, it’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while but I kept putting it off. Lots of love! You are such a ray of sunshine
Love it thanks for sharing, hopefully I can build one as good as you! Blessings
Your energy in this vid-... fucking source whole being because DAMN I love watching people in process!
Thank you so much for this.
🇺🇸
Thank you for posting! Your enthusiasm is infectious, and not in a COVID19 way! Looking forward to seeing you swim at Trials for Tokyo 2021!
Haha thank you, I really appreciate that! :)
You are awesome inspiration for all, well done
Great video thanks for the smiles! At 9 minutes in though I was like dang kid teach her how to hold the impact correctly haha
I am researching the DIY pool and was starting to feel like maybe I would not be able to pull it off. After seeing your video, I am buying pallets and know I can do this. Sometimes we just need to see an amazing person do something we doubt we can achieve. You are inspiring Danielle. Kisser
Hope your pool works out! Thanks for the love!
Bless you, you are a light! Thank you for sharing your experience.
Glad you enjoyed my video!
I always knew you were going to be an engineer! Look at you, Uratesa!!!
Divin Harimenshi Hahahaha not a chance! 😂😂

Awesome video. Gave me some good ideas. Thanks
This is awesome. Great work
And just a suggestion my husband actually stumbled across those videos by looking up how to build a homemade welder.
Awe, I just seen your video as I was looking for swimming pool ideas. You are so adorable and have a wonderful personality. You are inspiring to myself and many others I know!!! You are a light, so keep shining! God bless you!
Thank you so much! God bless you as well! :)
I love your energy! Keep up the great work! 😁
Thank you!! 😁
The pool was definitely cool but your personality could keep me watching no
matter what u build. U mention in ur vid that ur therapist recommended the project and it left me feelin so confused, how could sumbody with such a bright and uplifting vibe need a therapist?
It is so hot 2day and I was aggrivated and stressed when I looked up "diy pool" and came across ur video. Thank u 4 this video 4 sure, ur smile and character shines brighter than any diamond and u turned my day around. 😁 Gob bless u and ur family.
I have a sports psychologist that works with my team and I on our mental prep. It's been so beneficial to have someone help me out with the stress of high performance sport! So glad you enjoyed my video! Hope you have a great day :)
@@thislittlelight24 with so much negative and useless content on RUclips finding ur channel has been a huge breath of fresh air. Your personality is the bomb, I think it's amazing how outgoing and positive u are. You seem very close with ur dad and brother, and you all should have ur own t.v. show, would b good 4 America. Keep up the good content Danielle, may God continue 2 bless ur days and everything u do.
Love your enthusiasm, your family is really supportive to your project, i think that's really cute and cool :)
thanks girl!
Well done 😁
Thanks for the inspiration...
Wonderful job..👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
I'm going to use this idea to make a pool for my lab xD
nice project, enjoyable to watch
this is amazing!
This is amazing! You go girl
Thank you so much!
Good job girl.
Great video, thanks for sharing. Two things. Were the screws Philips head? If you do this again, use Robertson screws, aka square drive. The bit stays in and they don't strip like Philips. Second, why not put the poly down first then the tarp on top? Wouldn't the tarp be less prone to leaking? My old 18 foot round pool is on its last legs so I'm looking for ideas on how to replace it. Might try this. I have heater suggestions if you want them. Cheers!
I've seen a lot of pallet pools diy's...and You guys are the only ones to put the support wood through the pallets..AWESOME .and VERY VERY SMART... others fail because they dont do that..yay..turned out great!!!
We will likely use wrachet straps and wood.
@@havenlove7023 Will the ratchet straps stretch. Metal cable with turn buckles won't.
Hey that is amazing, we get plenty of free pallets here in the UK 🇬🇧
I’m gonna give it a go 🙂
Oh I'm gonna try and build this today
Very nice !
Cool!
Okay so you won't be scared of the tools next time there are some videos on here explaining how homemade tools are made and also they will show you how to turn a drill into a sander to do those pallet projects a whole lot easier ma'am!
A search of "swimming pool diy" that i not regret at all ♡
So sweet of you!
Thanks for sharing. I think Im going to build one next week end!!! I hope Id be done by july fourth. Im so excited.!!!!
It's surprisingly easy!
You gave me a great idea for my children so they can cool off this summer
Wow this is awesome. Youre Awesome!
Thank you!! :)
Your amazing I took this idea i’m trying it myself!
Herculean TV how did it turn out?
My goodness, thank you for posting this video, now I know I can do this. ;)
Glad you enjoyed the process! Hope your pool works out too!! :)
I am going to attempt my own pallet pool and I came across your channel. Thanks for sharing!
Good luck! Hope it goes well!
@@thislittlelight24 Thank you. Unfortunately I got all excited, had everything mapped out, then learned that California has so many laws and regulations around owning a pool, even an above the ground one, and my landlord said no to putting one in.
Can you list all material used...how many pallets did u use? Great job dear....always good building but tearing it down is a whole nother' Level i rent so idk how long id use it for haha was researching diy pools came across your vid. Def need ideas for my 3 kids , us to use n build one in- expensively!!❣️🇺🇲💙 much love from Delaware!!!
Great job you're awesome and I hope we get to meet you someday
You’re so pretty!!!

Thank you so much!
I love your attitude.
Thanks means a lot!
Ouu i sooo love this idea
Where did you get your liner & plastic?
...and you keeping touching your hair so cute!!!
Thank you for your video.
my questions is, what type of liner did you put and how much mil? The one you put together with scocthtape, because I want to build the same, did it hold the water or it leaks...Thank you hope you response
Hey, great questions! I filmed a more in depth tutorial and you can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/NEXXPVW30y8/видео.html
The pool held the water really well, but I did get some bubbles in between the tarp and poly... but no major leaks and it's still standing after 5 months :)
If u know girl ur pretty and smart all small ppl is pretty and smarth
This pool is so awesome! You inspired me to make a pool with my kids... we are near the end. But need to reinforce it a little more.
What is the tape that you used and what is that clear liner?
So awesome!! We used poly that was 6mL thick, and the tape is blue tuck tape :)
You have good energy
Thanks!!
Hi just wondering if you can share what brand of lining you used and where you got it from. Thanks!
We used 6mL (heavy) poly! You can pick it up at any hardware store!
This is so awesome! Are you using some kind of pump and filter? I wanted so much to get an above ground pool for my niece and myself this summer, but everyone is engaged in price gouging ($1,000 for a pool that was $230 a few months ago) so with my limited income it's not going to be possible. I don't know if I could do this, but you've inspired me to at least think about it. Cheers!
Yaaasssssssssss
Cracked me up your video shows up right under another couple of videos of the "Hidden Pool" crazy expensive. Rotfl
Great job and cool dad btw! If I asked my dad to help me build a "pallet pool" he would probably smack me and think I was joking lol
My dad had taught me how to build stuff and all the drills and stuff and I wanna build a pool and we have pallets so I might build a pool
My dad just told me no
Nice job your gorgeous by the way earned a sub 😉
Woahhh #actuallyimpressed
Berothie Cazeau that’s high praise coming from you! 😘
Is the base pallets also
Hi Danielle. We are in the process of building out pallet pool. How is yours holding up? are you having any issues with algae? How about vacuuming? We learned so much watching your vids....super helpful!
That's awesome! Mine is doing great! We have chlorine pucks and a filter, that really helps the water. We are also pumping out water and replacing it with hot water from our house... so there isn't much of a chance for algae because we change the water quite frequently :)
If you haven't seen this yet, here is a more in depth video of how and why I built the pool: ruclips.net/video/NEXXPVW30y8/видео.html
Happy building!
Hi what brand of poly did you buy? Any thickness especific of the plastic and also where did you buy it? Thank you
Hey there! We used 6mL heavy poly, you can get it at any hardware store! Hope that helps... just buy the thickest poly and use a generous about of tuck tape :)
@@thislittlelight24 Tuck tape or duck tape? Not sure if that's a typo.
@@havenlove7023 it's called Tuck tape, no typo :)
How many pallets did you use and did you have to put in a pool filter?
I used 8 pallets for the sides, and the base was a giant 12ft pallet :)
what kind of tape did you use to join the polyethene? I thought it would be better if you had a sheet of polyethene big enough so you didn't have to join it?
We used tuck tape, and the only reason we had to do that was because at the time we couldn't find a sheet that was big enough
This Is wonderful do you have the plans and supplies you used
I’ll be doing a video about this soon!
Like!
What kind of tape did you use to tape the poly together? GREAT JOB!
Thank you! And I used tuck tape
I have a question Is the plastic just regular plastic or a special type, and what was the name of the tape that you use? Thanks
Hey there! I did another tutorial video on the pool: ruclips.net/video/NEXXPVW30y8/видео.html
Hopefully this video answers any questions you might have! :)
Does it seem to be holding up well? My husband and I are considering building one
It’s still doing great and it’s been 3 months!
Did you put a filter system?
Yup!
You did it all by hand to! Damn I'm to lazy for that I woulda used a sander
I would have but I couldn’t find ours! 😂
What kind of tape is that and where did u get all the materials and what exactly are all of them lol im tryi g to do this for my kids. All the pools are sold out everywhere here
Hey there! So cool! We used tuck tape, a tarp, 6mL heavy poly, pallets, 2x4s and a bunch of screws! I’ll be doing a video about this soon! :)
Thanks love!!!! Im super excited!!!
@@thislittlelight24 Y'all used to diff .tarps? Blue and clear?
They have heating blankets for pools
What poly liner did you use
I used a super tarp 250 UV, can watch the build on my page
Hey there! We used 6mL heavy poly and you can get it at any hardware store! :)
@@buildit7582 I watched yours on you tube...I have yours and this one saved as my inspiration..I looove your pool ty for the video..now if I can just get my hubby on board.😄
I’ve been thinking of doing this for months now and j I hope maybe I can convince my dad to start this with me!🤞
Go for it! Hope the pool works out for you :)
How many pallets
What were the total costs for this project
No more than $250 to build the pool. But now i have a filter, cover, and chemicals so the price has gone up a lot more
I feel like I saw you before this. Were you on A show on TV ?
So never saw ending product??😡 what happened. Didn't see it filled
She literally wrote "to be continued" on the video. You would have seen that if you were actually watching? Check her channel for the filled pool video if it's not in your sidebar recommendations.
you are a very lovely girl, a real sweetheart!!
Sorry but you're so beautiful 🥰🖤
ok ima littil scaird because when im watching this her chanl has 666 subs
Not anymore so don’t be scared now ;)

Pretty sure that’s how it works
surely a bathtub is a pool ? this isnt a pool its a bath
You single
You actually didn't build it, looks like your bro and father did most of it. You helped.
You drink way toooooooo much coffee!
1 of about 6 reasons I had a heart attach at age 42.
When the coffee “kicks in” you’re only running about 80% to 85%. Quit coffee for 2 to 3 months get back to 100%.
