Hello, I present to you my city swimming pool project of 10 feet by 15 feet in an interior courtyard. Everything was done in self-construction, except for the pvc liner installed by professionals.
It took me a month to build it from A to Z
I also made a short version if you like: • Faire sa piscine soi m...
Home heating to heat it: • Fabrication maison d'u...
A version for French speakers: • Faire sa piscine soi m...
Swimming pool in concrete block with shuttering, sand pvc liner.
In the video everything is not visible go to my site for more details. Here is my site where I explain everything in photos: www.tutosdepannages.com/p/pro...
I also did solar heating if you're interested • Fabrication maison d'u...

I built on a similar size about ten years ago. Hand poured a slab. Drilled and epoxied in the vertical rebar. All blocks filled with concrete. It is half in ground, half above ground. All block was coated with a fiberglass reenforced stucco. The inside is finished with swimming pool epoxy. The outer portion that is above ground is covered in limestone. A simple above ground sand filter system which technically should not work in the configuration I have it in, but it does. No drain. I just use a sump pump when I need to empty it. We did ours for less than two grand.
Do you have a picture? Any direction to what you used and how?
😮😮
Literally exactly what I’m planning for my back yard! Awesome!
@@mannynliz5822please record if you get to build one. I would love to see what goes into building one. it’s hard to find content like this. Thank you
Great workmanship. Just one tip for others that will be constructiing a pool. The verticale rods that were placed in the floor do not function as should. You need to attach the verticale steel reinforcement to the horizontale floor reinforcement and overlap them at least (40x the steel diameter). For this they use speciale reinforcement brackets so the forces from the water will flow from the walls to the floor.
Thank you , definitely my next project.
Very nice job
I will be building my own pool shortly in spain. But I will tile it and not put in a liner. Saved your video for reference. Thankyou
WOW 😯 thanks a lot! You are a genius ❤
So this is what happens when MadLibs builds a pool. Cool!
Congrats! This looks great!
nice pool for good people ! ⭐️👍🏻🇺🇸
Nice video. Im now working on infinity swimming pool with mosaics.
The “ English subtitles are hilarious “
love it, thank you for sharing
I wonder why a vapor barrier wasn't used to seperate the concrete from the soil
Правилно чем гряное пляж и речку не поедиш у себя дома свой бассейн С Наступаешим Новым годам вас успехов на жизне 👍🏻🌍
Interesting technique of dry setting the blocks, then filling with concrete. Makes sense. Mortar joints aren’t strong laterally. Only compressive strength. The water would push the blocks outward. But at first I thought you were crazy for dry setting the blocks. Done your way, they’re basically just permanent forms that are never removed. A diy approach to for form work. Again, interesting approach. Is this commonly done?
Also, nice equipment room!🎉. That’s a variable speed pump, not 3 speed. Maybe a typo.
What kind of hose are you using for the plumbing? Excellent job
So simple yet great design. I hope that i will be able to put my effort something like this in the future🫢
Excellent work, What was your total cost? I’m looking to do the exact same thing by myself.
I love zee pouce!
Love the music; reminds me of Bagpuss
I understand the regulations are likely different in France than here, but does it have drains?
Do you have a low water table or did you put in a sump pump to remove excess ground water that might accumulate?
don't forget to subscribe ! THANKS .
Roughly how much did it cost and when did you build it?
Thank you for the good video. Did you use mortar or glue to hold the cement blocks in place? Did you use anything?
He fills them with concrete. Which locks everything in place.
Ah yez ze pouces!
Did you not do a bottom drain
Did you glue or concrete the cement blocks together? Did they move if you didn't glue them?
Typically you have 3/8” - 1/2” mortar joints but clearly this worked
Jesus loves you 🙏🏻🙌🏻❤️
what is a "bacher around the pool"?
Hi, impressive work!! breathtaking. Two questions please, whats the height of the concrete base? and another question, the diameter of vertical irons is 0.31 pounces, but whats the diameter of the horizontal bars? thanks!!
10 cm is recommended for a pool of this size.
@@maratonlegendelenemirei3352how much it costs?
Please don’t pour. You’re placing the concrete. That was drilled into our heads by a Major from the Corps of Engineers. Lol. Great job!
What size the pool
Cost breakdown??
I am surprised you didn’t use a French drain. 🤣
Hey! How much you paid for pvc liner installation?
Guessing that a “pouce” is an inch if you are using a Godly standard….
Can you build me one in Maryland?
Yes i m french but ok if you payed me travel 😉
We do these in PA
@@muds17 when you say we do you mean a company you work for? Interested in a rough estimate on how much something like this would cost in Ohio.

Why so much secrecy? Did you steal teh Volvo? Are the worker's illegal? Or just ashamed of their work.
Contractor did not respond as desired to shakedown for youtube exposure?
No drain? And it works ?
