That fact that so many of these were just back to back to back, the level has gone up so much from when I used to skate and watch skating religiously back in the late 2000’s early 2010’s. I absolutely love how much they have pushed the limits.

God I love the skateboarding community. Practically the only sport where almost everyone in the audience is just as ecstatic for every competitor when they're doing good. So much love

I saw him 2 days later and asked him how the contest went and he quietly says "I missed my last trick". That was all he had to say about his performance. Then I watched the contest. OMG.
I started skating in 2000 when I was 13 and stopped around 2010. I never lost the love for it and still love watching videos and keeping up with me favorite skaters online. The progression that has happened in the last 10-15 years is almost unreal. I remember getting the zero video dying to live. Chris Coles part was a look into what the future of skating would be like. One trick in particular, kickflip back nose blunt down a 7-9 stair rail, it was like witchcraft at the time. It had never been done before and at the time that was just a video game trick and not something anyone could actually do. Now guys are doing that trick and equally hard / harder tricks 1st Try in contests! I have no idea how skating will look 10 years from now but it's exciting to witness the art of skating advance into something even crazier
This was insane ! I've been skateboarding for decades and these were the sickest dudes i ever saw in one contest. The level of skateboarding is so damn good !!

Truly, Yuto has to be one of the best skateboarders I've ever witnessed
I used to do a little skating and seeing these fellas lay this stuff down, one great ride one after another, tricks that you would see maybe pulled off once in a competition or video is just so sweet to watch. These guys really are taking this stuff to a whole other level of smooth style, skill and flow. Heck yeah brothers.
i can watch this video all day long. it's a true art form. so technical and ballsy yet looking like it's easy. simply beautiful

My knee-jerk reaction is that the judges were a little free with the 9s, but these dudes just fucking killed it.

@@WETTO301 ive seen luan doing some treflip noseslide nollie flip outs on a downledge back in the day for an 8.2 or so, the crook shov out was a deff a free 9, i think with the limits being pushed this much the last years, they should up the standards to get a 9club a lil bit, or in 5 years everything will be a 9 lol
That is a lot of obstacles and unique tricks to helping the line of Jamie Foy, Vincent Milou, Yuto Homigore, and etc.
I’d love to start seeing more of these 9 club compilations. It really highlight’s how far these guys go to get these scores and how technical these guys really can get!! Love this gift SLS keep it up!👑🔥

Yuto should have gotten around a 9.8 or 9.9 for that nollie 270 noseslide.
That trick is INCREDIBLY difficult to pull off clean and I'm not even mentioning the fact he just did it on a 12 step ledge, in the middle of a contest with thousands of people staring at him.
How do vou score it below 9.7???

I've recently been getting into skate videos and i'm having a lot of fun. I thought about skating but I'm a musician and I can't risk injuries to my hands.
Im an artist too, in drawing and painting, and i started skating recently! I'd say it's worth it- it's as freeing as it looks :]. As long as you pad up properly and learn to fall, it's not as bad as you think. Also wrist guards are a must!

My lines would all be so generic and basic boardslide/50-50 grinds and I'd get like 2 score on everything. But, the way these parks are set up. It's just so awesome. Most skateparks are like nah youve got way too much run up your not suppose to be able to feel comfortable rolling up to an obstacle like this. lol.
If buttery style was the only thing being scored, Yuto would be 9s all the way. Love that kid’s look.

I felt the same. And they gave 9.1 to Yuto when his foot was half on the board... I mean he's good, but not as clean as these other guys. New stuff I guess, nose slides a lot, but not as clean and I thought Vincent was the best.

Vincent: frontside flip tail. Dashawn: helicopter heelflip. Foy: fs krook. Sora: overturned fs 180 to hubba. Yuto: bs nollie spinny-spin to rail. All these guys wash, rinse, repeat. That's why I like when new guys enter the chat. Hoban is a breath of fresh air.
I wish Muska, Rowley and Reynolds would enter this comp just for shiz and giggles.
