I've been thinking, "Capcom vs. SNK Infinite". This would play like a mix of the previous games, return the six-button configuration and add more characters from other Capcom and SNK IPs. I expect Mega Man X and Axl to show up, considering the crossover games needing more Mega Man characters.
Personally, I think this DECONFIRMS a CVS collection more than anything. Cuz if they made a CVS collection, then this and the NGPC game would've definitely been in it instead of being rereleased separately. Yeah, I know this and the NGPC game are technically "SVC" and not "CVS", but it'd still be weird to make a CVS collection and not include the SVC half, despite the fact that the SVC games were made by SNK and the CVS games were made by Capcom. I just can't see Capcom releasing a new installment in the "Fighting Collection" series with only two games.

I like and love old retro arcade games so I like emulation very much as it provides great features which a physical game console lacks (save states, bios change, recordings ,jukebox etc). Emulation community helps preserve those gems which are forgotten in time.

this Code Mystics developed port had the PS2/Xbox secret character unlocking system, instead of codes you had a simple button for it, also it had achivements, options with full bars and unlimited exceeds if you are a "plusero" as we said in Mexico.
Why to purchase when you can run it perfectly on a MAME emulator. Konami, Capcom, Nintendo, SNK are filling their pockets by selling game collections/compilations older than 30 years which doesn't make any sense. Purchasing old school games is only a waste of money when all the games are easily available on the internet without any charges.

It’s so nice to see this coming out and it gives me hope for one of my other favorites from this era, Capcom vs. SNK 2. I played this game yesterday and today and it's fucking horrible, ugly animation and the gameplay feels awkward. Capcom vs SNK gave it a class in terms of animation and gameplay. it's not woth at all
I love Capcom versus SNK match of the milennium and played it religiously on my dreamcast as a teen, and later CVS2, but SVC chaos is still am epic game and deserves to be remembered and revived, so super chuffed it is. Plus that lovely lovely old school SNK pixel style is just tops. Also another hurrah for us to finally get CVS3, also all you hardcore CVS gamers, give SVC another go; SNK fighters are every bit as good even if they don't feel like a hallmark Capcom fighter like SF3 or CVS2.
i remember my best friend finding a cab of this on this place on 8th St (now called James M Wood) and we walked about 45 minutes to go play it for the first time. we loved it so much, it was different playing with SF characters who could do the C+D knockdown. hes a big Ken fan so Violent Ken was all him. him specifically was always adamant that it was a great game that people were underrating, and time proved him right. its a wonderful fighting game and the end of an era really, you can argue with the wall all you want but from Alpha 2 to KOF 2003 that was the best time for fighting games
CvS3 would take some elbow grease and incredible balancing to make. Capcom would likely need to decide, set and create new models for the SNK characters that they will put to the roster. They would have to consider the overall fighting system(s) that they would use as well. I am very excited and wary of what could potentially end up in CvS3 if it ever is being planned.
Capcom is on a roll RE remakes, street fighter collection, fighting collection, beat em up bundle, mvc collection, dead rising deluxe remake. I know this is snk's but capcom will have given their blessing. Come on capcom vs snk collection!!! Hopefully snk could release a fatal fury collection like sg collection would be nice to have them all physically rather than as download titles from arcade archives
I hope they add a quick play matchmaking to Online. The lobby system is a little wonky in design. Other than that, I’m having a good time and happy to report that it’s not dead on arrival on Switch.

The best part of this game is it featuring the greatest King of Fighters Boss ever. GOENITZ! The guy manifests himself as a catholic priest, tells you to repent to God at the beginning of the match and has some of the most ruthless crowd control moves where he asks god where he wants him to place his attack "koko desuka?"
This was my Favorite VS game ever as I found that Capcom would always make their VS games Hyper Absurd and that SNK Characters never translated at all to their 6 button bullshit I found that SVC Chaos was able to get the Street Fighter Characters in to their 4 button style a heck of a lot more respectfully since they still played like a Street Fighter game would all while Capcom made SNK Characters suck with their 6 buttons.
The fact they use other Capcom fighters in this crossover other the just street fighter in there c vs snk it makes the game unique and fun. People gave this game a bad review it music and gameplay and art was good always wanted a second part. Another game that was freaken hard and people hated was street fighter the movie the game on ps 1 game has hard fun and different wish they remake that one as well

it was a decent game, but it was overshadowed by Capcom vs Snk 1 and 2. I prefer CvsSnk because of the updated sprites for SNK characters. One of my biggest gripes about SNK is they didn't put significant effort to update their sprites and catch up to their rivals.

Since the game ran on old neo geo hardware, it was very easy to emulate on PC immediately after release.

This is my fav Snk X Capcom game. Though that’s mainly because i can play as Zero.
Zero is also in Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Him, Megaman Volnutt and Roll are in it and Zero is really good in it. That game is so underrated.

I loved this game. The bosses had that ridiculous SNK theme. It felt so good to beat. I’ll gladly play it again. I appreciate a pc release.

Still have this for XBox. One of my favorite fighting games on the system...still prefer Capcom vs. SNK 2 on PS2, however.

Unfortunately the game has a lot of hit box issues and certain characters are missing certain moves, special moves and for whatever reason there's a secret character that just can't crouch. Uh.. i don't know why it's like that and survival mode is missing. Here's a question, why isn't the game in a collection along with Capcom vs Snk 1/2? 20$ yay

Idk I feel like Capcom doesn't want to make more than one fighting game at a time. They might not even have the man power to do that anyway. It would just compete with Street Fighter 6. We would probably have to wait until the end of SF6's life, and I have a feeling SNK would make it instead but who knows
there's a reason games the first few Mario and Sonic looks still hold up over 30 years later they are simply made to look good for what they are going for not cash in on the latest trend. In another words simple doesn't have to mean bad.

@@jediknightgeoI liked the roster and backgrounds of SVC Chaos more. In fact, Kasumi Todoh was the character that got me into the KOF series in the first place.
it was a decent game, but it was overshadowed by Capcom vs Snk 1 and 2.
I prefer CvsSnk because of the updated sprites for SNK characters. One of my biggest gripes about SNK is they didn't put significant effort to update their sprites and catch up to their rivals.

SVC Chaos was so unpolished and drab and looked terrible it failed cuz it wasn’t as energetic as the Capcom. Capcom really put love into and money into their versions

CvS2 is a nicer game but I like SvC more than CvS1 mostly due to the first game style doesn't match background as nice.
