Using Spices for smoking is such an Amazing idea. Regret in the past have binned so many whole & grounded spices. This new use of spices is really innovative.

Pellet grills combustion is high, smoke flavor is low. Charcoal/wood grills, lower combustion more smoke flavor. Explain the cold smoking flavors.

I learnt the cold smoke way. Humans have been smoking food since we had fire. The most expensive woods used in insense are carefully placed on mica plates over charcoal so they wont burn.

Great to see the Meathead affiliation with Weber. Two quality sources of BBQ resources.

"The largest BBQ and grilling website". "The largest selling BBQ book out there right now".
I'm skeptical of the research behind those two claims.
