Most people think this is Kay Starr singing, but it isn't. Because Kay Starr was a star, it would have been too expensive to use her version so they had an unknown young singer do this version just for the TV show. The unknown young singer was Connie Francis.
How come Norton had all kinds of creature comforts-TV, radio, phonograph, etc. and Ralph had nothing. Ralph had a good job. He could have afforded things.
In one episode it was revealed that Norton had bought all those things on credit. Ralph was just a cheapskate who would rather spend most of his money bowling, playing pool, and lodge dues than to at least buy Alice their first TV set.
When I was a kid I lived in Brooklyn on Chauncey Street my family told me Jackie Gleason lived upstairs from them or next door I'm not sure said he was a nice guy my brothers knew him I'd never got a chance to meet him but I love his shows 👍❤️

We shall never see the likes of Jackie Gleason again. Man was a genius!
Right?! Art Carney definitely stole that scene!!!
There will NEVER BE ANOTHER as good as Gleason!!
He was the BEST!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
There are no funny shows on tv at all anymore!!
Norton was GREAT!!! 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
We here in the 2020s and Joyce Randolph(the last star of the honeymooners) is still alive. God bless her.
She just celebrated her birthday recently.
Somehow I believe we all wish these people could live forever just too sad to see them leave us. Still laughing of course.
How old??
Comedic geniuses
The stylish lady got to 99
The Best. What A Team. Pete sr

The kids in the audience really love Art Carney.

I heard one kid say, "Don't fall down!"
The honeymooners and the flintstones a lot in common episodes back to when young they were
My dad and I are huge Honeymooners fans and I haven’t told him, but I want us to dance to this song for our father-daughter dance at my wedding
So fun to watch Art Carney dancing here. I wonder how they discovered that he could move like that?
He had already been in a lot of movies and was very versatile!!
More so than Gleason!
He had already been in a lot of movies! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The best version there is, perhaps
Courtesy of that one TV Land promo, whenever I hear the song Wild Thing by Ton-Loc, I think of Ed Norton's dance. (YOU DA MAN, NORTON! YOU DA MAN!)
Its a crime this show isn't promoted
Norton was the BEST! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Funniest moment in TV history.
Gleason dancing? Love it
Wow..I imagine Art Carney could probably really cut a rug on the dance floor in real life. Must have done a mean swing!
Michael Jackson, eat your heart out!!
Northern can I it would be a true honor and blessing to get to meet all of you hope you can climb out of your casket and be there ha

I have wondered this for years! Maybe it's because Norton had a City job!
hair brained schemes...

@@melissacooper4282 But didn't Norton also spend money on the same things that Ralph did (bowling, playing pool, and lodge dues) ???
He's waiting for 3-D television.
Do the hucklebuck
The Hucklebuck, or better known as Charlie Parker's "Now's The Time".
