Mod Complete! Northwestern/Otis Elevators at the Wells St Garage in Milwaukee, WI

- (July/November 2023) This is a before and after of the modernization of the elevators at the Wells Street Garage (Formally Isaacs Parking) in Milwaukee, WI. These elevators were originally installed by Dover/Northwestern in the 1970s and were original up until 2023 when they received a modernization by Otis. Enjoy a final ride on one of the original cars and then a ride on the brand new elevators. As sad as it is to see a set of epic vintage elevators get modernized, these were in much need of a mod as you can see by my before take.

I live right outside of Milwaukee some of my favorite elevators at this garage they were in rough condition and my face lit up when I saw they were modded very nice tho

They made a great choice going with Innovation fixtures. Those are some of my favorite.

First time riding these was after SirenCon this summer. Had some friends over early December and decided to bring them downtown to see the Hyatt and these elevators. Was shocked to see them so different but definitely much needed!

These elevators needed a mod but i still liked the original fixtures. Otis did a good on these.

As a former MKE resident who rode these a lot, these really needed the mod they got. Although with the expansion of the convention center across the street, I already knew it was coming.
Hey at least we got to see them before the mod!
