In late 1960s,Nadir B Godrez (Godrez Company) secured AIR - 03 in IIT JEE ,he went to MIT to pursue Chemical Engineering.In the 60s & upto mid 70s,some IIT JEE toppers chose Chemical Engineering(that time Electrical & Chemical Engineering were the preferred choice of the toppers)

If you want tag go for iit and placements go for cse as per 2023 data iitg chemical median-16.25lpa and top nit cs like Trichy allahabad surathkal warangal is 27-28 lpa
Then one should choose CSE without second thought at IITs Or NITs.

han bhaiya mereko IIT KGP aur BHU mein architecture 5 yrs course milra tha n thass it..isliye maine koi IIT bhri hi ni thi list mein keval NITs hi bhri thi.....ek toh lowest branch phir 5 yr course...upr se mera khud usme koi interest ni 🙂

Bhiya udhar side ke NITs (lower branch)mere ko mil rahe h and srinagar (v,lower branch)bhi,mere ko kya prefer kerna chahiye iss case me mech. me intrest hai.csab me milne ke high prob hai , me UP ke ayodhya se hu.like nit nagaland,mizo,agrt*mil rha, manipur,, Meghalaya,srinagar,sikkim.and kis branch ko lena chahiye mech,civ,chem,prod,lower wale etc.and top nit me food wagera bhi syd.

One of IIT faculty grouped IITs in groups of five. Top 5 old IITs are first group then next 5 IITs are Second group then next 5 IITs then rest of IITs.There is no concept like top 7 IITs.

You already have similar academic pressure like your jee preparation for your own course of chem engineering and now you also have to work towards IT programming, these are the types of people who commit suicide, but still, companies hire non tech branch engineers as coolies, and you will get a package of 9-10 lpa in a IT company if you are from core. Might as well only study and be best at chem engineering, you will get 25 lpa + job or go international, as core engineers earn the most amount of money, more than cs/IT
In Assam there are no riots or strike some this riots or millitary activities held in Arunachal Manipur Nagaland but Assam there is no this kind of activities because it's is located center of North East that's why there are no this kind of activities

@@mystic1809 as far as I know, some companies don't allow but most of them do... And after all if we have the tech skills we can get awesome off campus as well... BCA wale chaman logo ko bhi mil jaati he badhiya wali agar skills he, toh humko toh milni hi he... Plus we'll be in chemical branch which provides a LOT of free time, might even have a start up 🗿...btw you're getting which NIT?
