I am a govt employee and myself seeing less recruitment in my office and many vacancies being replaced by contract people. Before calling anyone pagal, think logically. EE sector is very good engineering sector. But this is vary person to person as their interest in engineering field. Some of Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc this kind of counties mainly focus on your degree level like BSC,MSC,PhD. While in American and European countries and Australia-Osania counties and some Asian countries like China, Japan, Russia, Korea etc this kind of counties usually focus on your SKILLS. So chose your subject where you like to do it. And EE actually a good branch specially in Europe. There is a vast amount of scope in any kind of engineering field only if you have that much interest and skill on that subject. Thank you
