When I convert any book to ePub, I end up with duplicate covers. When I delete one, they both disappear, and then the first text page of my book becomes the cover, which again duplicates. It’s so frustrating. Any idea what’s going on?
Can you do a tutorial, all about using Calibre to Organize a large library? I really want to understand User Categories and how to assign them to books. I have about 18gb of ebooks on my tablet, and far too often i get sidetracked searching a book. Thanks.
+Socrates Williams I appreciate you watching! I don't really use Calibre for book organizing but if I can make a useful video on it, then I'll plan on making it.
never managed to make it work, it should be pretty straight forward but converting files for Kindle Readers never does the job properly (the formatting is off)
I'm using 3.10.0, and apparently the only way to "Add books" on more than one book at a time (like you'd want to do with an ebook library) is to put all your ebook files in a .RAR file FIRST, and import them OUT of the .RAR file! If you go to Add books, and select "Add books from a single directory", you browse for the folder they're in and.... NOTHING! No "Select All" function, so you can click on them one at a time, but other than that, anything else you (I) try causes the program to bomb. It seems pretty lame to have to RAR ebooks so Calibre can then un-RAR them! Why not provide a folder add?
Cool video! I like calibre program!
I wish you continue this Calibre tutorial..

Add Book drop down menu > Add books from directories (multiple books per directory)
