EVE ONLINE - Alpha Bob's Scanning Tip - Add 15% to your scan results!

- Scanning Tip: Use the Ctrl key to move your probes into a "tight" formation, which can get about a 15% better result when scanning a hard signature.
Most of you probably use this technique already, but it is needed to scan down a Level 4 Relic site with only 72 points of probe scan strength.

Great tip. Thank you. I knew how to adjust the probe positivity didn't even think to look for a way to save the formation.

I have been scanning for over 4 years and never knew this.....
My problem (as an alpha - though I haven't touched it in a while) was hacking, rather than scanning. (Note that the free exploration expert system (from the career agent) helps alphas a lot - you can farm them with a new char (last for 3 days, can get a new char in 1) if you have a free char slot)
Learning the Hacking mini-game is very important to making lots of ISK as an Alpha.

As for "free" character slots, just make a 2nd account (under the same email) and you'll have 3 more character slots.
