I just got a few Colineo brushes and they are becoming my top choice because of the ultra precise point, great snap and control / details I can get with them. And they balance that well with decent water holding capability!
I also have some larger Casaneo brushes and got the same results as you - they have an extremely fine point too but the hair is super soft / floppy (perhaps like a real squirrel?) so it’s harder to get fine lines / detail with them but they hold SO MUCH water, especially for a synthetic!
Just lovely… Da Vinci is sure doing a great job with synthetic brushes! 🙀

Thanks so much for this video! This was very helpful as I was trying to decide which synthetic I want to use for watercolors and miniatures painting with thin acrylics! I didn't know about the da Vinci Colineo but I will definitely be checking it out now!

Thank you so much! This was very helpful! I decided not to buy brushes with real hair, because it feels strange to paint animals with animals, although they might be great. I use the Casaneos a lot and love them, but I‘m also interested in the Colineo, so this was interesting. Maybe I will give them a try… ☺️
