I like Eric's designs I own the Tier 1 Mini, Calcula, and Alaris of the three I have the Tier 1 Mini is my favorite. They're all great though just depends on your needs and preferences. Thanks for the review I always love hearing your thoughts on a knife and your photography/Video is always top-notch at giving us a good look at the knife also. Thanks Jim
Jim, coming from a cinematographer by trade I appreciate the work and attention to detail as well as a great knowledge and well-spoken dialog around a great quality sound and video..Got some knives coming in from Eric, looking foward to them....great job my friend
Thanks for sharing bud I may be alone on this but I would love this with a kydex sheath or the option This is a great design I like it alot looks very well done!
Honestly I dont really see military guys running around with 300 and 400$ knives except maybe a guy that collects knives. Take a look at some of those special warfare guys videos most knives they showed that they used where like 90$ and below.
Jhon, not my experience, look at guys from: Regiment, Scouts, LRSD, Infantry, etc. Now if describing the Private Joe Snuffies of our military, you are correct, but that young man doesn't have a car, clothes. Hell his squad leader has to march him to the PX to buy a jacket so he stops wearing his black trench coat to chow. Thoughts..... ???
@Erik Hansen Well, you may have seen a much different side of the military and you may be right, but from the guys I knew and some of the questions I have asked and other sources I have seen I have never heard of a guy going to work with a super expensive knife because things get lost or broken disappear etc and that adds up really quick but I'm also aware there are exceptions out there. Now I'm also aware that there is a different price that civilians and military guys may pay and here is a good example I remember I had bought a sog seal knife fixed blade because I thought it was cool and I like collecting knives which I think at the time I paid maybe 50$ for it at the NEX same knife out in the civilian world ran around 100$. Another good example would be the Kabar combat knife 50$ on base more expensive out in the civilian. Now I have also seen where some knife models where given away for free by some companies to try out and have that used by the military tag line ( my division where given some serated sheep's foot knife by spyderco it was like this bright yellow thing pretty much useless in our division) Now for disclosure I was nothing special in the Navy I was surface side in engineering and by no means am I military expert but that being said I am in the veteran community and have talked to a lot of vets marine Corp, Air force army etc some special force most not. What has stated above was passed to me by said individuals.
Lmfao bro I was a bubble head and we ran around with 200 300 dollar flash lights knifes pens and other random stupid shit people carried with them I had the expensive flash light
World’s biggest threat? I’ve recently been on a six month trip around the world and it seems only America feels that way; because we’re on top… and there’s only one place to go from there. All the people I’ve met in over 25 countries have no problem with China, but see us as shit disturbers.

Buy fewer knives if need be but buy USA made knives.
Amen - Boycott Made in China knives

no.
Glad to see Jim feature a Made in America knife for once. I'd rather not send money to the world's biggest threat (China)
For once? Dude, fewer than 10% of my videos are reviews of a China made product.

Well then don’t have TV’s, a cell phone, clothes, shoes, medical devices or medical consumables, car parts (including American brands) . 🤦♂️
