I use an cold orca at 18-19%, fast enough for most inter-/hyperdictions with ca 570 m/s with an large enh. AX multicannon, medium nanite torpedos, medium long range thermal vent beam, Size 5 Bi-Weave with enh low power and low draw engineering and about 2500 Hull, repair and reseach limpits etc. I do everything titan wise with it and I call it the diver. As soon as I get attacked, I dive back to the asteriod belt, repair and dive back in the action again. I love it.

My current build is a Krait Mk2 “Fighter Class”, and although I don’t particularly enjoy flying it, the ship however does hold its own, so I can’t say too many negatives. Fulcon Delacy delivered my AX ship and it’s performing it’s designed role, just wish it had the speed and handling of the FDL. Just waiting out for the Python mk2, and I can foresee a good few Titans remaining when Fulcon Delacy finally brings it to market. I think it will be my dream ship…

Nice vid :D I have tried about 6 different ships in the Titan Maelstrom and have come to the same conclusion (FDL) for the vents and the core. Maneuverability really matters to get those vents done fast and the extra utility mounts on the FDL sealed the deal for me. I saw CMDR RosaTequila hit every vent 3 times in a row yesterday in a similar FDL build. I didn't try the ECM tbh.

I used a shieldless Chieftain at Taranis but switched out to shieldless Clipper. Its much faster and agile but less tankier. I threw in 3 upgraded caustic heatsinks for a total of 21 charges. Should have me covered for the next maelstrom.

Hi! Cool video commander! One thing I'd like to point out is that electronic countermeasures don't work on thargoid missiles according to the AX wiki. Not sure if that's outdated or not, but just something to point out. Really cool vid though!

I have been out in the black, but have been itching to try some TItan attacks, if not now... then when, right? I have been looking for Titan builds and haven't found much, so thanks for posting this. As a bubble build, the FDL seems plausible... just not quite sure which ship I will go with at this point, I don't really want to try out multiple builds to be honest, so again thanks for posting this.

I'm running a dbx that sits at 14-15% heat, no boosting but I hit 2 to 3 heat vents no problem. I can sit at the titan for hours just chillin 😎

not played in a year after the war stated and could not get the scans on the first maelstrom's so have not played since ,such a shame i know but the grind for all the new stuff was to much for me ,would have loved to have done it but i was not able to get it done and now i will be to far behind to even think about it until the war ends and if it never ends it looks like i may never play so i should sell the fleet carrier i just got at the start of the war ...shame but true we are not all great combat players

@@RicardosGaming It does not ;). ECM works only on Glaive/Scythe containment missiles, and on the Scythe's hatchbreakers. The counter to caustic missiles is caustic sink launchers. Unfortunately ECM does not work on any caustic missiles! -CMDR Mechan

I tried the FDL and it didn't go well for me. Having said that it might have been a technique issue as I lost a Cutter or two before getting fairly smooth with it now....

hey just wondering why u didnt go with sirius missile racks they do 48.5 DPS or 67.9 damage + it has 24 mazine size insted of just 12 so most of the time it dosent go into reloding when the core is out.

One prominent doomtuber has nothing to say about the Taranis explosion. I unsubscribed from their channel ages ago. Hopefully, they will stop making vids about Elite and predicting DOOM and the end of Elite. Take care, commanders.
