Husband and I both got married at 19. As people get older, they have more "requirements" that they don't really have when they marry young. They want to be financially stable, good education, nice house, nice car, etc. so this makes you picky and less desirable for marriage. Reality is that not everyone is rich enough to give you this in their 20s. We both struggled of course, but Allah blessed our marriage. We could have easily fallen for zina but we were afraid of Allah's wrath. Getting married young is great because generally you're both healthy, energetic and beautiful. You have more drive and motivation to work on yourselves than you would if you were in your late 30s. As you both age, your love grows stronger for one another because you both remember your struggles together but you also still have this image of what you both looked like when you were younger. You don't really have that when you get married at 30.

You can do whatever you want. I advise you to learn the religion and to marry a religious person who practices Islam. Dont get deceived by muslims who pray 5 times a day, saying they are pious. Praying 5 times a day is obligatory and the absolute minimum. It doesnt make someone religious or practicing. Just like hijab. If you learn the religion well you can tell who is really religious and whos not.
Learn the religion properly for at least a year I'd say. You'd need the imam/scholar to be your wali (guardian) if you're a woman. Don't delay more than that. If you've already learnt enough or more than a year. Then don't delay. If you're a man you don't need the approval of anyone. There must be 2 muslim male witnesses for the actual marriage though. May Allah grant you the best spouse, righteous and pious.
As my opinion 24 for boys and 21 for girls because at that years they complete the adolescence phase and become mature and have a different way of thinking and look on life (a source taken from medicine). But still Allah knows the right time when you will get married so don’t worry too much! 😄

I would like to inform a fact that a lot of Muslims need to be educated about it. Puberty and starting your period does not mean that someone is already ready to have a baby or intercourse, it means it’s a start of development of the whole body until it stop at the age of 18. So please Muslim brothers and sisters try to understand this and don’t force your children, especially your daughters into marriage and have children because an underage girl will die from severe bleeding from childbirth and even the baby will die because it didn’t develop fully. Many will say once a female has reach puberty, physical and emotional maturity. The problem is just because a female gets her monthly cycle, doesnt mean shes physically mature and able to have children without losing her lofe. Thus is because the start of a female cycle begins the process of maturing her reproductive organs and spreading of her pelvic bones. This process takes years and is more often that not, they are not safe to birth children till 16 minimum and some as old as 18 till the growth of her reproduction bones and organs are done. Puberty is a sign of her maturing but a 9 year old or 10 years old, even with a cycle, simply can not have children without sever risk to her life. As per Biology, after the age of 9 to 11, girls start periods and after the age of 12, boys start ejaculation. Girls and Boys may feel full sexual desire after that age which may lead them to sins. salam alikum, my question is if a man isn't married but abstains from sinful acts, is this act acceptable in islam?.....i'm a 34 year old man who wasn't able to get married because my neighbours who are muslims as well want someone who can have chat with my parents coz they don't rely on a guy living alone as in my case. Unfortunately, both my folks passed away a long time ago, i went door to door tried to convince everyone that I'll take of my wife if they once agree with the marriage but they refused. I would like to inform a fact that a lot of Muslims need to be educated about it. Puberty and starting your period does not mean that someone is already ready to have a baby or intercourse, it means it’s a start of development of the whole body until it stop at the age of 18.
So please Muslim brothers and sisters try to understand this and don’t force your children, especially your daughters into marriage and have children because an underage girl will die from severe bleeding from childbirth and even the baby will die because it didn’t develop fully.
