Tantra does not have a single place of origin. Tantra or more widely "magic" or "black magic" is present in all tribal cultures all over the world. In India, many practices and forms from Vedic, Buddhist, Shakti and other non-vedic customs have gotten included and become part of Tantra over the ages. Sir, i am hindu from south. To be honest we love our gods, we mostly dont blindly anything believe in anything. Hinduism itself says god is a medium not the ultimate.
