Love 'em. I've had Active EMGs and Seymour Duncan Blackouts in previous guitars, and the Blackouts were my favourite by far. Been meaning to pick up a set for this one too, I wouldn't use any other brand.
...and in standard tune! Bravo! I was wondering how "Saturday Night" was going to sound at the end. On the very last chord Doyle plays an open E5 but the guitar is tune down 1/2 step..... you made it work by playing the same chord from the sixth fret on A.
Ha! Well spotted, I didn't realise it until just about the end and had to wing it. In hindsight, shifting Dig Up Her Bones up a semitone instead would have been the better play.
I get maybe 1 comment every couple of weeks or more and get notified on my phone about them, so it's almost harder not to check comments at this stage 😅
Thanks this was helpful. You are very good. What kind of amp are you using? I'm playing a EP, Les Paul, and SG with a Fender amp, but you have a nicer sound. Distortion pedal?
How did you get the tone, I’m trying to find out the amp settings and I don’t know if there’s a petal. I have a Marshall Valvestate 2000 amp. Great Cover!
I'll be honest, at this stage, I can't remember any exact settings. But I can tell you that I plugged into a Line 6 recording interface (Line 6 Pod Studio KB37, to be exact) and used only virtual amps and effects from Guitar Rig 5 software. No amp or pedal, just the Les Paul and some virtual amps.
Thanks a lot! No amp or pedal used in this video, actually. Guitar is plugged into a USB recording interface and run through some virtual amps. For virtual amps, I always use Guitar Rig 5 software. It sounds much more "real" than the others, I think.
Hey, thanks a lot! The shirt, I'm not sure, I got it somewhere here in Ireland. But you can get the same thing in red on the official Misfits website, I'm pretty sure!
+Eric Blasse Neither, actually, it's my guitar plugged straight into a Line6 USB recording interface with the dry input processed through Guitar Rig 5. I can't remember the setting, to be honest, but it was one of the presets.
Various parts of Dublin City wherever I happen to come across them. I know they were selling the same shirt on the official store for a long time, they might still have it now.
No pedal, it's all digital effects, I'm afraid. Guitar is plugged straight into a Line6 Pod Studio KB37. As for the distortion, I ran the dry input through Guitar Rig 5.
I don't really use tabs for the most part, and I learned these songs so long ago, but Ultimate Guitar should cover you for these songs, they're pretty simple.
Nice cover dude but your a half beat off at 27 secs and every time u play that part., do that one part all down strokes and wow now your a beast!! It sounds so much better when u get it down you'll see what i mean Rock on dude
I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's a fan.
overlorrd53 Me, a fan? Myeah, they're alright.

Start with Static Age, those songs are all pretty easy.

2022...still great ;)
Great "quote" from "Lost Skeleton Return" version of "dig up her bones"!
Yeah, I thought that little riff in the outro was a nice addition. Though, it probably never really needed to be re-recorded, realistically.
Awesome!!
Good to see a true fan, nice cover!
Freaky cool

Tabs and/or chords for dig up her bones?
Also where did you get the misfits poster behind you?
Freaking awesome cover and shirt man!! Where did you purchase this shirt?
Hey, thanks a lot! The shirt, I'm not sure, I got it somewhere here in Ireland. But you can get the same thing in red on the official Misfits website, I'm pretty sure!
It would add to the overall Doyle style and feel if you used all down picks. Great covers though. :)
Ah, you are right. Should have gone live Doyle and just beat the shit out of my guitar for the duration of the video.
pedals or straight amp distortion? and whats the settings on the pedal?

If that's a mask where you get it?
Azsuno It was a solid white mask that I found at an art supplies place, I painted the skull on.
Easiest songs to play on guitar go to the Misfits lol
They're all pretty easy, in fairness, dude. I was enjoying myself, not flexing. What blistering power chord laden song do you suggest?
@@MrFranHalen I wasent bashing you or anything dude. Their songs are all fun to jam too
Yeah, no better band if you want to learn a full album in a day or so! If only I had less regard for my guitar, I could play more like Doyle. ;)
tabs please

wow tab ????? xD

Thx :)

Thank you very much! :)
k verguenza
where you got this mask?
It was just a plain white plastic mask I found at a local costume shop, I painted the skull on.
...it's all downstrokes guys
Yeah, Doyle is also a 12ft tall behemoth who beats the shit out of a custom-made guitar, do forgive the strumming pattern, I'm merely a peasant.
Nice cover dude but your a half beat off at 27 secs and every time u play that part., do that one part all down strokes and wow now your a beast!! It sounds so much better when u get it down you'll see what i mean Rock on dude
Hey, thanks for the feedback!
Are you referring to the second chord in the verse?
It's a half beat too early?
Graves > Danzig
Why would you say something so controversial yet so brave?
@@MrFranHalen it’s true. Danzig is an asshole
@@misfit477 Nah, I agree, I much prefer Graves' work with Misfits.
And his solo stuff, I think I prefer to Danzig's as well
