this song is about a serial killer lol Amy and Julie are his victims. the whole theme of the album is 50s monsters. "we were running around having a blast" after saying he was watching her die. he was having fun chasing her.

Tim Tompkins this comment immediately took me back in time to when I was about 14-15. Two friends and I were skating down the beach hitting up all the spots and during that time, and for years to come, I was really into the Misfits overall. Yeah, me too. And still to this day I can't say if I like Graves of Danzig era more. Both are awesome and you do not have to like just one (unless, most likely, if you're Glenn ... :p )
@@I_do.not_fearyou nah danzig cant sing like graves can..yea danzig yells and makes it dark but graves turned the misfits as something dark but with a beautiful voice
Personally like the graves era of the misfits, he brought such a nice melody with him it really drew me in, love Danzig but American psycho and Famous Monsters are my favourite albums
As a fiend I would love to see both danzig and graves on stage together with the rest of the band singing duo vocals for the best band of all time. There is a good reason why we just celebrated 40 years of the crimson Ghoul and the misfits. Misfits don't have fans they have fiends!!!💀💀💀
Punk is not the sound of a song. It's the attitude, and the "i dont care what people think", about a song. I'm 40, and I most definitely love old glen misfits the best. But I love this song, and graves is a great singer/songwriter.
This song is a perfect mix of mid 50's Elvis and "Rocky Horror Picture Show". For real, this song on "Famous Monsters" would've fit right in with the Rocky Horror soundtrack, but somehow it's very romantic as well. Graves is a REAL songwriter!
Just saw him last night in Oshawa with his band. Discovered the misfits via Graves. Then got into the older stuff as well, of course. But I find that the graves era was much deeper. He brought a depth to the band. Harmonies, tempo changes, etc.
Believe me I’m the biggest Danzig and misfits fan, I have all the tattoos, misfits were so good with Danzig but Michael graves did an amazing job filling danzig’s shoes and taking over the band, I love both graves and Danzig both have made the misfits the best punk band ever
I love reading these comments because I was an old school fan. Michael Graves change the misfits for me and still since we’re all grown up now, the graves are will always be better for me. It has more personal meaning to me.
Brilliant song. Me and the band I played in at high school covered this at one of the school shows. It gave me goosebumps to actually be able to play it for people. This guys voice made me fall in love with The Misfits. I love both him and Glenn Danzig. Amazing vocalists.
Yea, he's awesome. Very chill. Got to smoke a joint with him after we(my old band Comatose Society) opened for him on his acoustic tour for the "Illusions" album.
One of my old bands opened for him during the first Michale Graves album. He seemed to be in a dark place back then and was very aloof. JV bastard, Paul Lifeless and Bobby bloodfeast were pretty cool dudes though.

The first time I heard this I didn't think much about it. The years have past now.. this song is amazing. One of my favorite songs now. Cheers to actually getting older.

i met him when he came to Minneapolis. such a giant heart! He made time for everyone. Thanks for the vid..used it to learn this song on acoustic. took just over an hour. HERO!
The first time I heard the misfits with Michael, the minute I heard his voice, I had this image of a zombie/ghoul, pissed off by the rude awakening it had received as it rose and walked away from its grave, yelling and singing with all its might and energy.
Love Michael graves and his voice, I was always a misfits fan and loved when they got back together, got him and actually learned to play 😎👍😊👏🤯🔥❤😆 I love the misfits in all it's stages but Michael graves definitely is special, I was just singing this song at dinner and I looked at my phone and this is recommended to watch? a song to dance in a wedding
