That's some awesome flying! Have to agree, so many 03 microwhoops lately. I don't have DJI, not a hater, happy to see some smaller DJI's come out, DJI pilots need winter fun too, now in HD! Looking forward to HDZero Freestyle V2s making their way into these. A lot of us hobbiests running HD0. Thanks for mentioning your flying to avoid prop wash. I'm still noobish and would have never thought of this simple thing. Loved the addition of whoopless flight, now we need to see a rush of 03 micros! We definitely have to be careful with this configuration! Not sure I’d recommend freestyling with it but cinematic shooting should be fine And yes hope to see more quads like this very soon - can’t beat DJI when it comes to that beautiful image !

Im thinking about making a long range drone with this frame. For as cheap as the frames are the risk vs reward is definitely worth it. Also it will be analog so cheaper and lighter

You can get osd on the v2! You need to go into the presets tab choose 4.5 and then type osd and choose osd o3 avata! Watch jbs video on bringing up osd! I have just finished building my pavo20 with the o3 and a gps as well I will put a video up on RUclips soon and show you what settings I have chosen
Ohh yeah I was always wondering about that! If I could record the osd as well! They are full of clues when your drone goes down!! Sometimes it’s a little difficult to not turn your goggles off and run instead of record everything like longitude and latitude!!
Great video! Always like to see others pushing the limits, making mods and a little DIY, instead of just flying it out of the box. Did you replace the CF Frame and Ducts with Pico parts, or just the Ducts themselves? Because I think you can buy Ducts without having to buy the whole Pico frame kit.
Yes you can absolutely only buy the ducts and that’s what I would do if you’re looking to do something similar instead of cutting up the nice Pavo 20 frame

What do you think about putting bigger motors on the Pavo20? For example 1204 or 1404? BetaFPV has a F405 AIO 20A 2-4S board, so maybe swap that with the original and go 4S with 5000-6000kv motors, any thoughts?
Not sure about putting bigger motors on the 2" setup - might as well bump up to the pavo25 at that point. Very powerful 2.5 cinewhoop. But I would hold off for a few weeks in case something new pops up 😋
I have the V2 goggles and have some form of OSD in my goggles (Not that I know how I have it enabled) hahahaha and what did you do for your tune? The one real draw for me is that not much protection for the 03 sure someone will make something for it as it is a nice platform.
I do have osd in the goggles while flying but looks like there’s no way to record that to show in the video. Oh well I had to turn down the P and up the D. I think I brought down the master some as well. And yes this is a very fragile setup. The 03 especially is not something I really want to risk 😅 but I want to see this platform evolve !

Hello, I bought a Pavo 20. Before installing O3, I was flying with 2-cell and 3-cell batteries without any problem. But after installing O3, it does not fly at all with 2-cell batteries, and with 3-cell batteries, it flies at 90% throttle and with difficulty. where is the problem from ? I have a 2 cell battery : tattu 450mah 75c and a 3 cell battery : boslipo 650mah 95c
any recomendation between these and flylens 85? i want to install it with caddx moonlight, and capable of doing some light freestyle / acro also good indoor cinematic.
I would still recommend the fly lens 85 as the best overall in the category - the moonlight walksnail cam will NOT fit in any of these unfortunately but i believe caddx just released their own cinewhoop with it !
Yes you can - I am using the radiomaster zorro with the 03 on elrs. I just remove the wires on the DJI harness that are responsible for the RX (should be the last two wires) but make sure to consult your wiring guide! Also not sure if you even have to remove the two wires but it may cause some unnecessary interference if not
That’s a lot of wind - you would need some sort of stabilization software for the video to look decent but that’s a bit much for this little quad to fly in
Unfortunately there's no way to get the OSD into the goggle footage with the V2 goggles. I think the best you can do is overlay SRT files, but I have not done that myself and I'm not exactly sure how I feel like I've seen it in Mad's Tech videos though.. Do the production level you went to with this video is impressive and should be the benchmark for fpv content creators. The beautiful b-roll and the features in phone text, is such a nice change from what I'm used to seeing. Also, the flying... 🔥🔥🔥AF!! Happy New Year, Moe! 👊🏻

osd should work, msp turned on in bf? wires may be the wrong way round on the uart?

@@MoeFPV already built it 2 weeks ago, sad things is it only support the 1s vtx on the bracket, tried the v2 or moonlight it wouldn't fit..
