For a beginner, simply release the rear mount of the canopy and leave it loose. The canera remains stable and you get a much more relaxed camera angle.
@@MoeFPV I built air65 when the Air frames and canopies came out a while back and I wanted the lower angle so I got the pliers out. Bending at second hole from the tip got er about where I wanted it.
Careful, that bend point at the back of the canopy is a prime breaking point. If the antenna is fit snug in the canopy, it'll rip it off the board. Push the antenna into the canopy to where it isn't snug but still in the antenna hole.
Nice rip, nice review, love your style of flying moe. Was looking at the air 75 thinking of buying as my first whoop but never pulled the trigger. Now I’m off to college, maybe I’ll still order one. Will be my first whoop and tryna keep it budget. But been flying in sims for a couple months, love it cuz it’s like a game. Love liftoff micro. Thanks again for the review, maybe someday I’ll jump the gun and truly get into this hobby flying irl not on a computer sim.
Great video! I own a meteor 65 Pro with the 35mm props. I recently installed the Betafpv thong canopy as I call it [same as your canopy] on my meteor65 pro along with reny motor screws and lost close to 2 grams. But like you I did not like the camera angle especially for indoor flying. I got an extra rubber spacer/ isolator for a flight controller ,pulled the rearmost canopy screw lifted it up and put the rubber spacer in there with a 10mm long small screw. [same diameter as the original screw]. So far so good!
Thanks for the review Moe! I've been looking forward to your thoughts on this one, so glad you grabbed it. My Mobula 7 is a getting a bit beat up, so I have had my eyes on this one recently....
Just a small correction, the Moblite 7 analog is the lightest 75 by 1.5+ grams coming in at 19.5x grams. I don't think there was ever a ELRS version though, so add 0.6g for ELRS RX or swap the diamond for an ELRS version. That said, the c03 camera would still be far better, and kv would be lower on Moblite.
I have that same RX in a 5 foot wing. Telemetry is not the greatests, but I can get out there about 500 meters without failsafe. As far as the canopy, spot on, I'm not sure what BETAFPV is thinking. The lack of the camera adjustment is why I fly my Mobula 6, my Betawhoops, just kinda collect dust.
Thanks for the review! I have no clue why they used the flat antenna lol, it has the worst performance and weighs the most out of all the other antennas
@@MoeFPV that’s what I literally just thought about it not breaking being the only benefit. I’ve never had a cube antenna break off though personally and I crash a lot and hard.
I don't know how long your a newbie for.. lol. But I consider my self still that.. I've only own whoops. And have been a big fan of the 75s. I totally agree and glad you said something about the cam angle.
Great flying! Super smooth. Seems like beta made a great quad here. Only think I can add is that I can vouch for the canopy is very fragile, and the angle is too high. I’ve ran a few of them and they have broken really easily at the exact same spot.
Silly question on the frame. Do you think it matters if that pointing part is in the front or the back .. wonder, if it's just a looks thing. Or do you think its like a counter waiting LOl .. I know it's not much... but just a thought 😊
Hi Moe, thank you for your content, you are very nice guy! I am flying mostly cinematic but I’d like to earn freestyle skills as well. I have an idea that ultralight drones can help me to practice easier than 5inch. I have lightest o3 but it is not enough light to make such a tricks without practice. You fly cool with Pavo pico and 2 inches but I hope I need to practice with tinywhoops first. Maybe I am wrong and I do not have talents )) but I’d like to try. I do not have anything compatible with these tinywhoops. Based on your experience what should I buy? Elrs controller? What goggles? Air75 or other drone? (I have only goggles 3 rc3 and tango2 ) What is the best option without price limit? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Brilliant flying. I recently bought an Air75 and I lowered the cam angle and I am loving the flights. How did you manage to get such clear analog recording? Did you use AI to increase its overall fidelity?
No upscaling here - this is just the work of the HDZ goggles as they have a type of internal deinterlancer. I think HDZ goggles have the best looking analog DVR in the market currently.
Thanks for the review, video looks much better on yours @200mw than I'm getting @400mw, what antenna/goggles are you running for this? (given I DO run chan R8)
I run the HDZ goggles with the rapidfire module - IMO the best-looking combination for analog reception and quality. R1 being the best channel to fly on as its usually the strongest
@@MoeFPV ty! I've got a set of skyzone 04 with their module and the speedybee module on my hdzero goggle, but have been putting off moving up to rapidfire...it may be time.
Yoo 8bit! Thanks for the watch mang - and this is completely stock tune! Was flying pretty good for me as long as the props didnt get too beat up. Let me know how it is for you man
Excellent review @MoeFPV. I have a question about the TrueRC Singularity antennas. I replaced the dipole and installed one on my Meteor75Pro and within a couple packs I burn up the VTX. The whip on my Singularity looks just slightly shorter than the one you had in your hand in this video. Have you ever had an issue with these antennas causing VTXs to overheat, etc? Pretty sure I had the VTX power set to 200mw or even lower. Perhaps 50mw. I would really like to run something better than dipoles on my Meteor75Pro but im kinda scared to try it again.
I have not heard of that ever happening before - not sure how it really could. Maybe the UFL wasnt pressed down all the way? You can certainly burn out a VTX by running it without ANY antenna but the Singularity antennas have only ever helped my signal out. Sorry I cant be more helpful but you should be absolutely safe trying it again
IMO its the HDZ goggles... but the Skyzone 04X also a good choice. Not sure about the price, but I know HDZ will be the most expensive as youll need an analog adapter as well. HMU on IG if you wanna chat about it more
I also wanted to mention, why take away the motor plugs, and include the 90 degree BT2.0? I can see removing the USB, but... how much could the motor plugs actually weight? Anyone know? anyone actually weight those things? I would rather have motor plugs, is that just me? also the original Meteor 75 came with 1102 18000 kv motors, and that thing is a tank, I have one I have crashed uncountable times, but the 1102 1800kv motors will spin 4 blade props, but... I just put bluejay on that thing, and bi-directional dshot, haven't tuned it to 2 blade props yet, 4 blade props limit your flight time to around 2 minutes (tops)
@MoeFPV just checked it and the power wire to the elrs reciever had come off ! But before this happened i was getting a strange interference on my screen at the top and my rapidfire kept doing a bleep,it was like it was trying to retune.I normally only get that happen on my other drones when I'm flying at distance or flying behind an object ?
My last happymodel 5in1 aio died. Just replaced it with this new betafpv aio. To my supries it flys much better and also Im done with happymodel after their aio prices are like 50 percent more expensive and durability sucks
I was a bit concerned after hearing some people have bad experiences with their new 5-1s from happymodel. I agree that this board looks very promising - excited to see how the 5-1 turns out
As good as the Air 65 is, Happy with my Mob6 2024. On the 75mm front, I do have a 21gram Fractal75, I like the mob7 20,000kvs, mostly for the 1.5mm shaft. However, minus the goofy usb dongle, this is the one I was waiting to see and dang, for that price too? Thanks for the vtx output test. That's a good thing to point out. for those buying after the 15th december on their website the air75 now uses the 5in1 flight controller .

Some sick skills with that little thing! 🔥
Gently straighten the bend in back of canopy with pliers and bend at second hole instead to get lower cam angle. Samsquach DPV in the house 🤙.
I am gonna give that a try - Id prefer not to change out the canopy at all so this will be a nice fix. Thanks for the tip!
Bro is everywhere 😂
I broke the canopy on my Air 65 at the same point and I simply glued a piece of ziptie to it and drilled a hole in it to get a lower camera angle..
