  • This video is a F2P Money Making 3.0 guide for OSRS! This is my Ultimate F2P Money Making Guide, with heavy Grand Exchange use required! Watch it to gain insight and ideas on OSRS money making in F2P.
    F2P Money Making 3.0 - OSRS Hints & Tips is NOT Ironman friendly and contains methods that can ONLY be utilised by having access to the GE! That said, most of the methods can be done with a very small amount of start up capital (10k or less even), And only a few methods have any skill requirements. I've tried to give an explanation of the core mechanics you can use to create or discover your own money making techniques, along with these methods. Thus, you can ideas to create your own or improve the methods described. Lastly, I have also included rough coins/ph with each method to indicate how fast you will gain money. I have tired to air on the side of caution, hence they should represent attainable/low estimates. I don't know about you, but when I watch other RUclips guides I struggle to replicate some of the claimed coins/ph, so I have vetted each of these methods and presented my actual results.
    I hope that OSRS F2P Money Making 3.0 - OSRS Hints & Tips is useful! Please leave a comment with any improvements or your own Tips and Tricks! Lastly, check out my channel for F2P & P2P quests guide playlists, as well as my HCIM OSRS progress series.

      I haven't checked it in awhile, but buying wizard time bombs, dwarven stout, and asgarnian ale at the inn in falador was one of my go to early money maker's, it's more input for output than beer, but offers way more return for input cash than just beer. Asgarnian ale is currently 221 gp per, and bought at 3gp, so a 218 gp return on each bought. They're sold at the lowest volume of the 3, so mileage may vary. When I figured this out a few years ago there was no guide online that I saw for it, but there was one for regular beer. Felt like I fell into a treasure trove as a broke early game f2p player.

    One method that really worked for me early on was buying and selling of Needles/Threads/Moulds (depending on GE prices) from either the store at Rimmington or the one in Al Kharid as a decent method as well, although be warned that the NPCs can be pretty contested depending on the time of the day you're doing this!

    Been buying pizza bases from Fat Tony at the bandit camp. It’s been surprisingly efficient, cheap, and low risk. Take 200 gold with you and fill your inventory with pizza bases, world hopping as necessary. It’s a short run to and from the bank and you can recharge your run at the enclave.

Anchovy Pizzas are one of the best HP restore items in F2P (Most HP per item slot) so not only do they sell for a lot, but they're also useful throughout all of F2P. I currently use them more than selling them so maybe the demand even eats up the supply

    Something that I've been doing to build my cash stack is actually looking at what skills will be able to make a profit while leveling in F2P.
    Making gold jewelry is, right now, a stable gold engine while leveling up crafting and always in demand from what I understand. The returns per cost, from what I see on OSRS Wiki, will tend to be positive.
    Do some research on Leveling F2P guides and find out what a good engine is! It will save your bank.
    Now, if you'll excuse me, it's back to the mines for iron and coal so I can smith steel platebodies. Smithing isn't an engine until adamant, so I'll be down here awhile. Might hit 99 Mining before I can even touch the Smithing gold engine.

    • @TheLumbridgeKnight
      @TheLumbridgeKnight  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah Crafting and Smithing are probably the best money making skills I think 🤔 Long term like you're doing, Smithing is probably the best option, but yeah, there's a lot of grinding before it becomes profitable though. If you have a tone of money you can fast track with the GE.
      Thanks for the comment OmniVirusHS! 😁😁😁👍👍👍

    • @vog-
      @vog- 5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey doing a similar strat as well, but I have a bond and a decent cash stack, going to attempt 99 smithing with the blast furnace, as I already have everything ready for each ore type. Might dabble into gold bars until I hit adamant or runite bars. And then maybe do that until 99 for good gp. Also when I’m done I won’t need to stress for a bond, I can chill in f2p with smithing rune items at 99 (apparently it’s good from the wiki, not sure if the gp per hour is accurate) but you know it’s good to have since I take long breaks from the game, like I will login once every 10 months maybe, play for 3 weeks, restart 😂

    • @TheLumbridgeKnight
      @TheLumbridgeKnight  5 месяцев назад

    • @TheLumbridgeKnight
      @TheLumbridgeKnight  4 месяца назад

      I think it might be profitable to string them and either sell them to Grum's Gold Exchange or to the GE. Personally I'd use my rubies to make Ruby Rings for forging as if you fold them into smithing it will help a lot as iron is the fastest smithing Exp.

    Is telekinetic grab on wine of zamorak a good GP/hr method?

    • @TheLumbridgeKnight
      @TheLumbridgeKnight  5 дней назад

      Hi austin7251! I’ve not measured that exact method so it’s a bit of a best guess based on some rough figures but if I’m calculating this correctly you should make about 749 coins per wine, you’ll need to carry law runes and an air staff so 27 wines per trip, which gives about 20k profit per trip. Falador banks probably closest, I guess it takes 1-2 mins each way and the wine respawns ever 30s. So in an hour you will probably get roughly 6 full inventories so probably a minimum of 120k per hour. But I think If you get slick with it, use world hopping maybe take water runes to reduce transit time back to the back, you might get upwards of 200+k/ph. Looks like a good method if you ask me I’ll have to do some in game testing to confirm and give a more accurate figure but, on paper it looks pretty good 👍 Hope that makes sense man 😅

    Buddy got me back into OSRS a few days ago, I find it so funny that I've already been doing the iron thing. He was like, "bro if we go members I can make rings of forging" then I was like, "there's a thing that lets you get 100% of your iron?" Started buying them on GE immediately, also, of you're willing to walk around a bit. There's almost always someone botting at al kharid at the 3 iron spot and just dropping the ore there. The walk from there to the bank is a bit long, but you can straight up pick up 28 iron at a time for free, I was making about 100k an hour with this. It's definitely better than just buying smelting and reselling, but it is a lot more clicking cause you have to walk from the iron drop to the bank. Tbh, at that point I'm also not sure if smelting is really all that big an improvement, you could just pick up the iron ore and sell it as is, no rings or forging, no extra steps, it's pretty good money as is. But I did smelt it, mostly cause I wanted the exp.

      Yeah that's a great tip! Most people botting at the mines drop their ore, so may as well make the most of it! Some ppl use the mines near Varrock, so might be a slightly quicker run. The only thing that might speed up the method you used was to get a second account and have two running the ore, hell of a lot of clicking though... 😬😬😅😅

      If you're doing this task manually then you do still have to watch out for making pastry dough as making one leaves behind a *water container* and *empty pot* in your inventory along with adding a *pastry dough* to your inventory meaning you have to do 9 of each at a time instead of 14. A total of 9 empty water containers, 9 empty pots, and 9 pastry doughs

    Pro Tip:
    If you wanna make money from the GE like a RS player. You have to *think* like a RS player.
    Small Example:
    If you catch ALOT of fish. You instinctually want to cook them to get "Cooking" XP, and them maybe sell them.
    But, your goal is to make money.
    (Think like a RS player) Other RS players want to get XP also...
    Raw un-cooked fish has a higher value to RS players because of what they can get out of it, in this case, they get XP.
    There are many players who grind XP faster by bulk-buying items in large quantities from the GE.
    So, "raw" fish will have a much higher demand than "cooked" fish.
    And the same goes for things like un-smelted iron, etc. etc.
    So, I guess it comes down to "What are you in the mood for?"
    Grinding XP?
    Or, making money?
    Remember... The GE is trading with real people.
    Nobody is going to buy junk. (Unless bots are buying junk for some reason.)
    If it's an item that is useful to you, chances are it's useful to everybody else.

    • @TheLumbridgeKnight
      @TheLumbridgeKnight  Месяц назад +1

      That is a great point! A lot of money making is predicated on selling the item and the potential XP. This is also a demand thing too, since items used for skilling will always be in demand. Nice items are great but people will only want 1 set of armour at a time while someone training smithing will need thousands of bars 👍😁 Thanks for the awesome comment!

  • @victorkunchev6438

    How do you sell the items on the GE - in bulk or 1 by 1?

    • @Krimay.
      @Krimay. 14 дней назад +2

      u can buy-sell them in bulk, but there is a buying limit to each item, eg. you can buy 70 rune shields a day, this daily limiter is set to make sure rich people dont destroy the economy plus new players will keep buying items to alch and make prices fluctuate like crazy, i hope i was able to be coherant and helpful enough, english is my 2nd language...

    • @TheLumbridgeKnight
      @TheLumbridgeKnight  12 дней назад +1

      On a technical level you can withdraw items in bulk in noted form (at the bank), you can then sell the noted items at shops and the GE. Once you have things noted you can put items either 1 by 1 or in a big stack into one of the GE slots, set the price and wait for the items to sell. If they don't you might need to lower the price. Hopefully that make sense. 😅

      Closest in f2p is falador NW bank, to a water fountain spigot. It used to be the bank chest and fountain in lumbridge castle on PVP worlds, but they changed that at some point so you either can't use the fountain, or some other restriction to it. It might still be, but definitely used to be one of the biggest bot farms you could find.

      Yeah I think farming a bond is a big ask in terms of grinding one out. Making this video I think the best way to get a bond nowadays would be to save up a good amount of money say 10 mil and then leave some open orders for items with buy limits on them. Go away for a week come back sell the items to the vendors and if you’ve gone big enough you should have made a good amount of money. Do this a few times and after all this grinding you will have enough for multiple bonds. Then once you’re in P2P you can potentially look to earn the money there as it’s a lot easier to maintain from that side than F2P… There might be another video in that 🤔😅
