  • Welcome guys, check out our video review of the Husqvarna 550iBTX battery powered commercial backpack blower. Cracking unit that we wish had a bit more power but still has a solid place in the lineup and we really enjoy using this unit.

That blower works best in the summer time when its just grass clippings and very little leafs. I would use a gas backpack blower during leaf season for more power and productivity. The battery tech is getting better eventually the battery backpack will produce just as much power as gas.

      What’s the runtime full throttle?

    • @lovelawns
      @lovelawns  5 месяцев назад +1

@lay5578 about 45 mins with this battery I think.

Thanks for the review. I love my husky gear but I don’t see where this would fit into most set ups unless you were noise restricted.
For me I run a Stihl bga200 which has 21n of force as my battery handheld with a knapsack I put over my shoulder which is great for small jobs. When I need a backpack blower I want run time and power which my Stihl Br800 has in spades. I just don’t see the point of an underpowered back pack blower with 45 mins run time.
Husky make great gear though so I’m sure it’s a lovely running machine.

Thanks for watching Wade. I think if you are all in on the Husky battery brand, then this works really well for the extra power it provides, but there are other options to consider in the current market. It's an excellent unit but just a bit less power than I would like. Cheers mate 👍🏻

How do you like your BGA 200 so far?

@@jmljml5065 I love it. Plenty of power for residential jobs and most days I will only use 1 300s battery.

Nice review ive held back on the back pack have all the other husky battery ( not mower ) and looking at your video do you believe the hand held blower ( 525 ) at 11n just tick under the backpack does just as good...ive used the handheld for any larger areas and does well, my petrol back pack although powerful I cant stand 2 strokes any more the noise the fumes lol ..a converted battery man forever I am so looking at your review maybe stick with the end held ? great video thank you looking forward to more

Hi mate, thanks for watching. As you are invested in the Husky battery gear like me, I’d 100% recommend it over the handheld Husky battery blower for anything larger than a standard residential block. It’s has quite a bit more power than the handheld Husky and is much more comfortable and easy to use for extended periods. I don’t think you would be disappointed with it if you go into it knowing that it’s not quite as powerful as a petrol powered unit but is better in every other way and still has good enough power and super convenient and comfortable to use. Hope that helps mate 👍🏻

    Hey Kai!
    Thanks for the review.
I was considering purchasing this unit, however, I opted for the less powerful 340iBT, only because it wasn’t reliant on the backpack battery.
My BLi940X has been rendered useless due to a faulty cable, which I can neither have repaired here in Barbados, at our local Husqvarna shop, nor does Husqvarna offer the cable as a replacement part!
One is better off purchasing three 9.4Ah BLi300’s than one 31.1Ah BLi950X I reckon.
I am looking forward to your review of the W520i / LC551iv when you get your hands on it. Maybe a head-to-head with your Honda, like you did with the Pellenc? Keen to hear your thoughts on the mower.
Lastly, do you think Husqvarna is working on a battery stand-on mower? I am holding my breath.

Hi mate, thanks for watching. Not sure about the battery stand on, but I would assume it's a yes, eventually. 👍🏻
