Bon Voyage! Come with us on a meandering camp-a-board boat trip down the Sacramento River into the maze of the California Delta. Aboard our 16' 1967 Valco aluminum riveted boat, settle in and slow down- we are on delta time and it's a bumpy ride with our 10 hp motor.

Kudos to you guys for pulling off such a cool adventure! I thought the title meant the WATER was going to be choppy! :-) Anyway, I can tell you got what it takes--I think a bigger boat is in your future, but people always look back on their first / smallest boats with nostalgia and much happiness. We did this trip in 2015 in our 32' sailboat, after having lived in it up near Sacramento for 1.5 years, so the whole river scene is kinda home to us--we loved it.

Loving this boating adventure. Choppy video, but still awesome. Did you experience any grass or weeds in the engine propeller? I hear grass is bad in that area?
