Fun fact, Sideshow made a nice version of that blaster. So the Tie pilot had the stormie blaster and this one. A Kenner tribute because it never shown in the movies.
This made me realize, I've never seen any actual photo references of the cloud car pilot's costumes from the movie (and, after searching, I can't seem to find any). We really don't see much more of them than their heads, from what I can remember. I never really thought about that before. Just always remembered them from the figures. Anyways, great video!
I agree. I love that figure. That is the first time it was updated in the modern line since the original release. Lots of love was put into that sculpt. I recommend getting both the OTC and the VC Figure for anyone looking to add to their collection.
Another awesome video of the greatest star wars vehicles and figures collection reviews are excellent has always keep collecting and may the force be with you all star wars fans the force is strong with this one 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I always loved this figure back in the day, I just thought he looked cool as all get out, and I dug his comm unit and helmet, and it gave my long since neglected Twin Pod Cloud Car a pilot and some inclusion back into my figure adventures and missions! :-) The updated version looks awesome and fits with the original Kenner figure extremely well - I can easily see myself making one a Captain or Commander and the other a regular grunt. The super articulated VTC figure is nice but despite the articulation it doesn’t have the same appeal as the original and first update with the orange shoulders, both of which are amazing figures. I guess sometimes it’s difficult to explain why certain figures are so appealing and others just seem sort of bland. I can’t remember if I had any of the updated versions or not. I do remember when the Expanded Universe green pilot and single pod car came out - I was so angry that they wasted figures on figures that weren’t “real” when they hadn’t yet made the actual figures everybody wanted! I didnt buy any of those expanded Universe figures, even when they were marked down to super cheap because I didnt want to encourage Hasbro into making more “made up” figures! I seem to recall many fans felt this way, and it was just bewildering they would make expanded universe or non-movie figures before the real things which everyone desperately wanted. Save that kind of stuff for when you have already made all the genuine figures. I still don’t really understand why Hasbro thought that would be a good move, and wonder if they have ever addressed it? Don’t waste resources and molds on made up figures until the real movie figures have been made! :-) We figure fans are an indignant, demanding bunch aren’t we? LOL! :-)
If the concept figure had a removable helmet it be a great figure. Don't understand why the sculpted a form fitting helmet, it makes it seem like he has no hair or ears.
That blaster also came with the TIE Fighter Pilot.
Great Catch, thanks!

Just got the OTC Cloud car pilot. What a beauty, got even more impressed when the helmet went off

@@socialdistancewarrior6553 You could do the ultimate Durge review. There aren't many. But they're cool.

Normally you have a diorama of Bespin with the cloud car of 2010 👍
Tie Fighter Pilot has the same gun as the Cloud Car Pilot.
SECOND!
