    I guess it’s time to start producing your own music, so you can be sure that they can’t copyright strike content creators

    What's sad is I'm a producers and a rap artist rapped on one of my beats, then had the NERVE to copyright the song with my beat included. The bad part is the distribution company who's responsible for helping the artist claim my beat won't answer any of my request to remove the FRADULANT copyright on my beat. I truly feel your frustration brother.

    That’s Scumbag behaviour if it’s labelled as copyright free. I’m glad I watched it before it you pulled it, it was a banger.
    They should be named & shamed to prevent it from happening again.

    This is likely one of those shady companies that will take loops off of sites like splice which are copyright free royalty free loops that can be used to make instrumentals and people pay like $10 a month to have access to splice I used to do it. I stopped paying for the service because I was getting copyright struck on instrumentals that I produced using the loops… it’s messed up because RUclips will always side with the accuser despite them having no proof they have ownership over something… these shady companies will go and copyright thousands of loops at the same time that they have no ownership over…neroscinema had to change his intro music over a situation like this

    • @Dartlin
      @Dartlin 3 месяца назад +3

      The people who are actually making the loops like the original musician playing the guitar or piano or anything gets paid royalties from splice when their loop sells (like 10 cents a download) but they get no money out of whatever is made with the loop… so it’s not actually musicians or producers using those original musicians loops it’s PRO publishing rights organizations or publishing companies that do this type of shady stuff, they file hundreds if not thousands of copyright claims every single day and they are banking off you not disputing it because most ppl don’t and they forfeit the video revenue (they use automated systems to send out mass copyright claims)

    If you ever need an audio bed for your voiceover, just ask.
    RUclips studio now allows you to replace copyright sounds with RUclips library music. I don't know if it's rolled out to all creators yet. The information RUclips emailed me about it gave the impression it stems the voice from the music allowing you to just swap the music out.

    • @PurpleWolfy
      @PurpleWolfy 2 месяца назад +1

      I don’t use it since, even if i replace the copyright song, it messes up the audio and you can’t hear your voice or game voice, only the song :( .
      Would be useful if it only replaces the song and not the full audio :)

    Yeah, I know how you feel, I got dinged in the past when uploading some of my first videos. So now I use my music from the bands I was in if I get a check when YT is processing the video. For instance. When I was uploading all my Call of Duty Campaign videos there was one campaign where some cRapper was in the end credits, and they dinged me on the check. So, l still had the original video on my SSD and just took that section and muted it and added my one of my old band's music over it. So, the outro isn't cRap anymore, it's punk rock and I chuckle when I think of it. The end credits of a CoD game is now my band, and punk music.

    You think what you experienced sucks? Trust me, it can still get worse... I once did a roughly 3 hour live stream of DCUniverse a few years ago. I didn't even have my microphone plugged in, wasn't talking, nothing. Only game audio, and though I don't remember off the top of my head for sure, I'm 90% sure I even had the game music turned off to be safe. Guess what? It got fucking copyright claimed. I don't trust YT copyright related stuff anymore, it's sad.
    Editing addition: I'd be willing to look into making music on end for ya if you ever decide to need it. I need to look into learning how to make music anyways for a game I wanna help make, so no promises currently on the quality, but I'd certainly be willing to help if somehow able. Just let me know.

      If you had a mic plugged in and spoke then you might not have been struck, otherwise you're basically just broadcasting the game content which is a fair strike

      The music was labeled as “copyright free” and he took the steps as was said in the description of a lot of those videos (signing up for a website or something of the sort) in order to use the music. Its not stolen or used without the permission of the owner if it literally says “copyright free” and he took the steps to make sure he used the music in the way the “musician” wanted (making the account and so on). That’s why he’s angry, because they still turned around after saying it was “copyright free” and copyrighted his video. And the fact that it was 20 seconds of audio in a 20 minute video and the audio was very low.

      @@frankdudleyjr6003 Then pay? Like hello. Avoid the problem in the first place and pay for rights to your own damn music or deal with theses issues as a result of going the "free" route but don't turn around and say "Most musicians are scumbags" just because you didn't get what you wanted for free from one musician. Which btw, there are many ways that he could get hit with copyright claims that have NOTHING to do with the original musician, but he's looking past that and putting musicians into one big "Scumbag" bucket and it's cringe.

    • @thewarchiefs2463

      @@DankaDrives You missed the point. If something is labeled as “free” and said thing is then not free after using it isn’t that scummy behavior? It would be different if he ripped the music but it is literally “copyright free” music. Also most of these “copyright free” channels do this all the time and that is who he is talking about when calling them scumbags. Don’t selectively listen.
