Hey Drewski, man it would be incredible if you could start doing weekly livestreams on RUclips! My one thing I would ask is that you save the livestream as a vod and upload it to your RUclips channel for people who might miss the stream. I hate when I miss a creators stream, and I just don’t get to experience it ever since it wasn’t recorded. Kill 2 birbs with 1 stone, livestream but upload it for people who need to watch it later. Love your content man, keep it up!
I jumped back on this banger last week. Its still as fun and frustrating sometimes, but honestly this game taught me to be patient and never really be angry with it. haha.
A thing that helps me with all guns is tracer rounds, it’s free and every other bullet is visible and the last 5 in the mag are all tracers. So if you’re spitting rounds and you see straight tracers you’ll know that you need to reload. Always helped me with not needing to ammo check every time I shot.
It'd be cool if you could do caliber conversions in game. Having a 6.5 Creedmore or 5.56 version in game would be dope for mag size/recoil/stopping power tradeoffs
true - you should be able to add 7,62 barrel to SG 552 making it 553 R which should be in game not 552. 552 was a bad choice (as usual for this company). At least ISMC Arbusto is bringing some new rifles and a new gunsmith system (for those unhappy with the stock game).
I love this rifle in real life, also the srs a2 is a beatiful long range rifle too. The mdrx trigger is the best semi auto bullpup trigger on the market right now.
Meanwhile the new patch broke a lot of things in the game. Flashbang that blind you for 20 seconds, buggy hit detection, broken ragdoll, FOV bugs on some optics, broken fast reload (your character now ALWAYS presses the bolt catch, even if your gun isn't empty, making the fast reload SLOWER than a normal reload), broken voice command menu just to name a few.
Hit detection is across a lot of games and even AAA. The worst thing to me about the update is the comm wheel. It was so easy to communicate before and now it is one click deeper making it frustrating. That is it for me.
The comms menu still kind of works, but how to actually confirm the call out you want changed. I'm not sure what it is on PC, but on console we now have to press the triggers to call out. But yes, the game is VERY broken. Worse than after glasshouse.
The last update also broke fast reloads, where you double tap R and you ditch the current mag For some reason, even if you have bullets in the current magazine you will always chamber another round
Makes absolutely no sense as a rifleman weapon given the definition of each class. It's more exotic than half the advisor class guns, why not make it for advisor?
Useful tip - You can easily save points by removing Light Armour and Light Carrier - as unless in certain setups, these are mostly redundant. Armour wont really protect you from 99% of deaths in this game as the TTK is so fast. And without a light carrier you still get 3 mags. So unless you go on a nice & long streak (which can happen of course) most of the times you will die before you've used all that ammo. And for the times you dont, its easy to pickup a weapon and continue the streak or scavenge ammo of guns which fire the same calibre. Light carrier also allows you to equip an extra grenade but in circumstances when you're using a lot of your points (e.g for the MDR) you might not even have one grenade yet alone the need for 2 so it's good to save points. Hope this helps! Also the new update is great! The Map is soo pretty. Especially some of the Villa/Apartment interiors.

I definitively enjoy the concept of streamed content and being able to interact with the streamer. Adds a lot to the medium. However, the main reason I enjoy youtube and on-demand services for movies or series is that it is on-demand, and I can choose when to watch. I have never enjoyed scheduled programming on TV for example. So I would only watch a stream if it happens to be on when I have time/want to watch something.
Loving Last Light, has anyone noticed the photo chromatic paint job on the car, love that detail great sounds and ambient sounds too! Local play restricted zones are so tight, makes it a little annoying, especial Check point E. I have problems with reloads on the MDR, sometimes it stops half way, and I go to shoot and get dead mans click :(
The amount of times I have reloaded a weapon, and the game says I have a full mag in the well, just to say it is empty after one shot. Last Light really screwed this game up.
Yea Accolade broke the reloads in the game. Even if you should do a retention reload, the animation will play where you have to rack/drop the bolt. I guess thats whats fumbling your MDR reload.. Hopefully NWI fixes that soon. As well as the 17 second flashbangs.

The setup I run for the morning in insurgency is the 4-1x and a loading grip, does everything you could ask. Counter sniper? Check. Single tap rusher? Check. Mid range? Yup got that covered too.

Need to check out the ISMC mod or servers that run the ISMC armoury alongside modded maps - this map was originally a mod map as was this gun as part of the ISMC mod where there are loads of unique weapons as well as much deeper weapon customisation than base game
People who complain about the MDR don't realize that in the original Insurgency, EVERY rifle felt like this - IN:S messed around way too much with TTK stuff
I prefer the purple website, but numbers speak volumes. You'd do very well on YT simply based on your sub:follow ratio between the two. The things that I prefer on purple are being offered here now (emotes, badges, etc.). In your shoes, I'd go with YT.
i always felt that twitch was worse than youtube for streaming except for the chat but you can download theater extensions to fix that. twitch doesn't even have a playback function unless you're watching a vod, but vods take ages to load properly.
ISMC brought that variant years ago. Also, ismc used to have NATO vs RUSSIAN forces matches (skins on the players) with lots of customizable options AND the enemies would have similar calls on radio to the NATO counterparts, such as: mi28s, su25s etc. Best time of INSURGENCY: Sandstorm when the mod was still fully functional.

I have not played Insurgency since May of last year. I guess I should go check out this new DLC. Although I have a Twitch channel, I never use it. I prefer RUclips. Since they fixed the compression issue on RUclips, I prefer posting recordings or streaming on RUclips.

Man I've wanted to buy an actual MDR for years. The issue is that it has had SOO many issues since its inception. Even today it's a complete gamble if you get a lemon or not. I've talked myself into buying it multiple times, only to talk myself out last minute. Just can't commit for $3k with all the issues. I guess I'll keep enjoying it virtually...

The eye box on any magnified optic is also broken on console

A DPM is a nice bullpup but a Tavor -X85 get a trigger pack from Giessle trigger pack 4.5 lbs pull and feel take up, is crisp awesome upgrade.

Funny thing is, the MDR .308 was already in Insurgency Sandstorm but in the ISMC Mod. They just added it into the vanilla game as an official weapon
