Weirdly enough that is my squad being recked at the 25:00 mark. The rest of our team wasn't putting up HABS at that point in the game so when we lost it we had to run all the way back to combat.
I love mg's, but there's so many games where the bipod is an absolute chore to place in a decent position.
Considering the bipod was added into Arma 3 a few years into the game, I actually think the implementation in that game is really well done
@@George-fu8pl I think the game with the most frustrating bipod would be hell let loose, you gotta work some magic to get that thing into a suitable firing position unless you are on a perfectly flat surface.
Generally, the only time I use the bipod is in defence of a Hab, rest of the time I use short controlled bursts

One of my favourite moments in this game was on an urban map using an LMG. I was on a rooftop on the outskirts of town and a full enemy heli landed right next to my building where I had a perfect view. Got the whole lot of them lol

The biggest thing they could do to make this game better is to make proximity chat work with enemies.
That would be a really fun mod or setting for servers but I wouldn't want it 24/7. The constant chatter would give me brain rot

It isn't your bipod causing the problems. It's you getting in tight spot and your legs can't go through the wall so you can't turn.
My sgt made me use a 249 with an angled fire grip on the side and a shorten barrel to do CQB at FTX
I too played Dayz Arma 2 at 10 to 15 FPS, I had a cheap HP laptop and turned everything on low just to play. those were the days.

arma 2 island life was the shit back then. i remember just finding 2 other dudes and we just started a rebellion and ended up shooting up the pd-hq. good times.
I downloaded DCS, bought Arma 3 for me, and 2 of my friends just because of your videos, seems like I'll be buying squad soon enough...
You better have a really good PC and internet connection if you want squad to even be playable.

Most other things seem to be doing just fine in this game.
If they do something nice to the dynamic range and add better ragdolls it would become quite immersive(r) too!
I was sitting here thinking something along the lines of GTA 5 ragdolls, where before they die they stumble around and then when they die they flop, roll and wiggle a bit. But adding some flavor from Left 4 Dead too, when zeds died in L4D it really felt like they died with intent. Really smashing into walls, floors, doorways etc. Instead of just going "huhu bumpercars wroom" bouncing a bit and acting like they're all inflated or something.
So yeah, better light balance and some real ragdoll action would lift this game higher at this point in time.

12:39 When I play Arma 3, it's at around 15fps. Afterburner says it's only utilizing 15% of my GPU and 35% of my CPU and with plenty of RAM to spare. But I've heard that it doesn't matter what it says it's using of the CPU, it's the CPU that's the bottleneck.

You’d be high af being point man with an open bolt weapon IRL tho lmaoo, one of the 2 things an open bolt does not do is 1. Initiate an ambush and 2. Be a pointman in CQB (if even worth risking that asset for an entry unit)

I also played Arma2 DayZ on 10-15fps back in 2012-2014, man it ran like garbage but it was sooooo much fun.
First i had some Athlon II processor, people said it was CPU dependent so i upgraded to a a AMD FX-8150. To me 8 cores at 4.2GHz sounded like a killer! It ended up thermally throttling constantly, and some poor old Radeon HD xxxx (cant remember model number, had 3 different ones cause overheating apparently happens when you dont have case fans lol, took a while for me to learn that xD)
