Ik this is a joke, but I'm imagining that if it were ever done there would be a hub area with a piano in the center, and each time you complete a memory it repairs itself in the hub until it's completely repaired by the end. The only problem being idk what the fight between Mari and her repression would be like. A stationary target is easy to hit, and yet I don't thing giving her an accordion would do her justice or be appropriate.

@@BunnyUmi Mari would be kinda more emotionally stable than Sunny so she would have much lower chance of getting Afraid emotion and by default her DEF would be much higher and she rarely gonna suffer critical hits

You can try Hello Charlotte! It's a more experimental game, but it really hits hard (there are three short games, the third one is the most detailed), I really like it because I feel that the creator reflected part of her own trauma in the game in some way, and that makes it feel very personal.

I am hoping Omari will come out anytime in the future! What I like about this AU is that I feel like it will be made to explore more of Mari and Hero as characters because you don't get to see much of their characterization in the game.
I wish OMARI came out, even though I couldn't play it, I'd still love watching it
I would think instead Mari would start hitting her keys in frustation before going upstairs as Sunny calls for her, wanting to lock herself in her room. Sunny may have been asking her, "Hey, lets try again! You almost got it!" And she, is frustation, tries pushing him away from her. Instead, she pushes him down the stairs, causing his death.

The only thing I had a problem with was that when they got the close-up on the face surrounded by flower it should’ve been tulips because that is Sunny’s flower
But Mari’s flower is Lily of the Valley

When it gets a close-up on hero, you see him surrounded by different colored roses which is his flower
it makes sense that each funeral close up has the persons flower surrounding them
Basil get sunflower, kel gets cactus flowers, Aubrey get Gladius,

For those who are confused, the swapped version is the version from an AU called “OMARI” where the roles of Sunny and Mari are swapped and Hero did the jump rope thingy instead of Basil.
I remember i was so invested in that AU. Sunny threw his violin and Mari shoved him on accident. Instead of Basil, Hero came. And thats when the AU starts.

@@ABlueThing I've always thought that it would be better to just have the events remain the same--Sunny still threw his violin down, but he was pushed, not Mari. After all, it would be more believable to say that Sunny just tripped down the stairs if there's evidence of his violin also being broken at the bottom. Nobody would suspect anything.

Same scene, but somehow switching who was alone afterwards really recontextualizes the scene.
I feel like in an Omari AU, If Mari was the one who killed Sunny, she would put much more blame on herself since she's the older one. She's suppose to be the one to protect him and be there for him when he needs her. She pushed Sunny to hard, in her midst to try and be perfect and now he's dead. She just killed her little brother, who loved and looked up to her so much, and that guilt from an older sibling I'd imagine would really damage her...
also, I thought It would've been nice If in the seen after that, they focused on Mari looking at Sunny playing his Violin.

As the younger sibling, Sunny naturally looks up to and respects Mari. It would make sense if he looks over his shoulder in awe at Mari’s piano playing

Eveyones joking like "Wow Mari threw a piano down the stairs" but as I imagine it, during the fight and after Sunny threw the violin Mari was the one losing control and ended up pushing Sunny down the stairs. And that's why the swaped version shows the violin broken

i’ve never played omori only heard the plot and premise slightly, but i deeply relate to sunny and this is one of the only pieces of media that makes me this sad, as i also regress into a space of mind and shit like that. This song makes me feel miserable too, nice.

I feel like in a swapped version of omori, it'd be more likely that Mari pushed Sunny too hard and they had the argument, nobody gets hurt at the time but later sunny un alives himself due to it, leaving mari to blame herself

I feel like what happened was when Mari saves Sunny from drowning. In the swapped version he drowns there.
I feel like if this were the case, you can see that the violin is still the one that broke. So I think Mari would have to carry her brother's violin down memory lane in order to fix it. I also think that Mari would have been the one to throw the violin (and the sibling) down the stairs

Shoue wouldn't, as it would be all her fault. Sunny pushed Mari off the stairs with the stress she gave him, which is somewhat forgiveable. But Oh boy if Mari was the one pushing him, that's all her fault.
