    9 hours of concert featuring thomas dolby, OMD and Depeche Mode? What a fantastic treat! Once in a lifetime! So very lucky fans who were there!

      I was fascinated by Depeche since minute one! But obviously they didn't get enough credit in UK which's really unbelievable, they never deserved being disrespected by their own country! No wonder they wanted to be loved and followed by US and they achieved it so well... You only have to think they live in USA ever since 1991 not completely sure except Fletch...

      My sister played the 6" of Just Can't Get Enough (b-side Any Second Now.) I was sold that day. June 13th, 1983.

    Judging by the fact they just got inducted into The R&R Hall of Fame, I'd say yes. They were ready to be monsters of the industry.

    • @RM360CR

      I mean who cares about something as The R&R Hall of Fame, specially to those of us who live outside the USA I dont, none of bands i like are in the The R&R Hall of Fame so with more reason for its irrelevance, look at the youth of today rock is dead for most of them, what band in recent years has appeal to all sort of people including those who ve listening to rock for decades and are very picky is there such band a new band NO...... moral of the story IS, what is the point of The R&R Hall of Fame if rock music is dying among the young population...

    So sad that Nitzer Ebb do not enter in the US in thus tour.

    • @route242
      @route242 3 года назад +4

      It is more sad that Front 242 didn’t do this show. They were the opening act for the European tour but they decline continuing the US tour because they had an album coming out and wanted to do their own tour.

      I agree 100%... I also LOVE Front 242 but Nitzer Ebb would've absolutely killed it that night... those kids would have never been the same - in a great way!!!

      Actualy Alan told in his 1989 interview that Nitzer Ebb was just do not get visa by USA without any explayned... I thougt that some people made a decisioun that It’s communist’s (or neo nazi) propoganda band if we take consideration about Nittzer Ebb’s cover’s in 1988.

      I've been to three Nizter Ebb shows, including when they opened for DM. They are a hidden gem. Along with KMFDM, Front 242 and Skinny Puppy.
