i guess it's kinda off topic but do anybody know of a good place to stream new movies online?
@Aryan Quentin lately I have been using FlixZone. You can find it by googling =)

Huge respect for the eldest son to put his foot down and say enough is enough and to drop the ultimatum of leaving (and taking his brother with him!!!). I'm sorry you had to be more adult than your mother, and I'm sorry you had to risk so much.
Amen!!
His Aunt should’ve made the ultimatum to Connie and Ed to have their rights terminated, however I am happy that Fisher had the audacity to send a wake up call to his folks.
Yes. Such a brave young man
i respect the older brother for saying that if things dont change he'll leave with hs younger brother, the 2 of them are probably better off on their own than in that house
Agreed!
I did that. Got custody of my sister the year before she turned 18.
The worse part is the father wants to go too. Those kids are in a losing battle
Right most kids just escape he wants to take him
I don’t feel like Connie is really all that interested in cleaning up. It’s like she has an emotional attachment to everything. I feel like the father’s attitude has changed since he got sick & quickly realized that his health isn’t the best. Both of the boys have a good head on their shoulders & their minds are heading in the right direction.
Oh my GOD. Her husband is pretty much dying of cancer and her sons are planning to move out and she acts the victim when she's inflicting this on all of them. I get that hoarding is a mental illness but it's so inherently selfish that it's very hard to empathise!
Same here, it's really hard to find empathy.
Exactly
Except when they actually have breakthrough or emotionally tell why it became that way. 😊
0:58 "I'm Fisher, I'm 41, and aged mentally beyond my years because of my parents" thats what his demeanor says to me
Not sure if you meant to put 41 or 14 but typo or not it still works lmao
😫😹
Was looking for this comment I had rewind to catch his age, swore he was approaching 30.
Same thoughts
He has the voice of a middle aged man
Imagine not letting your kids clean their own room! Smh & they said one of the boys is on the spectrum and needs a tidy environment the fact they didn’t do this years ago for their kids is honestly shocking!
What she did by doing nothing is borderline abuse.
@@MiffetBlue yes ppl dont understand how much it mentality drains us being in a messy space and messes with your emotions
Yeah, I was kinda surprised that they complained about it but had a messy room. Then I heard that and understood.
I'm mildly on the spectrum myself but this IS abuse. I cannot imagine how distressing it must be for his sensory overload to have to handle all that
I love those boys. Watching them finally being allowed to clear their own space and doing it together was fun. I hope their mum gets the help that she needs.
I bet she re-hoarded. Couldn’t let go of a Tupperware lid.
When the husband dies, I feel she will definitely hoard even more and her two sons will move out.
But it's a pampered chef lid! Lol!
@@THE1REALJP exactly!!!
100%
She never unhoarded. She just had them put it all in the basement and circus tent. She is a narcissist, selfish, lazy toxic person who doesn't care about her dying husband and kids. You bet she hoards worse now.
The kids are more mature than the parents and it shouldn't be that way. Hunter shouldn't be burdened with making decisions to protect his brother when it's the parents' duty to do it, not his.
I love binge watching hoarders, it’s so interesting to see how other people live.
Yeah I like watching when my house is messy and I don't wanna clean up real quick so when my family comes I can be like "What you act like I live like this".... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So sad. Hoarding runs in my birthfamily and I even had a touch of it. I have curbed that and the things I hoarded were always clean and stored away and organized. My Mom and half sister totally hoarded up Mom's house to the point it was destroyed. Mom and half sister had to move out until repairs were made. No running water for over 3 yeas and they lived in hot Arizona. Floors rotting out I have pictures that break my heart. Well Mom died in January and half sister has sort of moved back into the house APS is on top of it they say??
Now for myself my clutter hoard is gone but I do have a whole hoard of house plants. Since hubby died 4 years ago I just kept growing more of my own cuttings. Trading them for other plants sending lots off to people that wanted them. Finally found a local outlet for them so I can have the joy of growing them but then giving the young plants away to a source that supports my tiny local community. Win win for myself and community. But the big mama plants some I have had for close to 40 YEARS!!! will be staying with me.
I have not seen my birth family in about 35 years. Maybe more. My house is clean my plants are well cared for my 1/2 acre yard is also well cared for only now winter is setting in so no more outside gardening for me. So I really have no one to worry about but myself. I am 71 and figure if I want to surround myself with things I love=plants then so be it. NO piles of boxes paths crapalanches. I LOVE watching these shows when I feel the need to do some deep cleaning in my home.
@Brian Schienbein Thanks Brian. I do have one little pile of trash to put in my small car trunk next trip to town. No trash service here but dump fees paid once a year dump all you want. Trash is gathered in the last week from the usual house garbage nothing weird or unusual. I do not like trash gathering around. I will go down the mountain in a few days. And I do love my plants. They grow so well for me.
Yeah I agree. It's very interesting to see how people live. It's also sad how people actually go through as well.
Yess. Helps give you insight of how bad mental problems can really be.
I am sorry but I have no sympathy for her. she should get help. her family is falling apart and her husband is dying and all she cares for is her stuff
Yes, it is a terrible state of mind.
She’s going to start hoarding again when he passes away because she can’t work through her feelings.
I would dump her!
@@nogoodwolf You'd dump a woman who stayed with you when you had cancer? Typical man.
@@sushles Staying with you is one thing but staying with a hoarder and let's face it mold, dust filth! Is it healthy?
Cory Chalmers seems like the most patient, loving, calm man in the world. I can't believe how many people he has helped.
He is an angel on earth for sure.
Sometimes I think he’s an added therapist more than he is a cleaning person. It’s like he’s an undercover therapist.
I like the relationship between the brothers.
I feel so sorry for those boys. OMG, my heart goes out to them.

Yup. Being polite because being filmed? Tinkling in the yard, no less!

I actually really like all of them. The mother probably had the most trouble, but she wasn't shrieking and throwing tantrums; she just said what she felt reasonably, and it was bound to be difficult to change that way of doing things.
I wonder if the sons hate Halloween.
LOL!
I would in their place!
no they actually love it.
The boys should randomly throw out some of the packed boxes. The mom will probably never notice. She can’t track everything.

Throughout that whole hoard! I didn’t see Connie lift a finger to help. Unless I missed something......
She Uses Her "Claw Hand"😹
@@queene3oh3 😂🤣😂!
She looks like she don't do much else but eat!
To be fair, they shoved the whole days-long hoard into just 9 minutes of filming, which is nothing compared to the 45 minutes the other episodes get, so they might have edited those portions out intentionally to dramatize the film more. Or, maybe they didn't feel like it was important to show that for whatever reason?
lazy
Cory is such a warm compassionate man. I have so much respect for him.
This woman is VERY lucky to have a husband that loves her this much too...most would have walked!
She seems so selfish.
😒 VERY SELFISH. PATHETIC 😑
Awww the husband is so sweet 🥰
The boys have voices for radio/ podcasting imo
Connie is incredibly selfish. Nothing should come before your family. Period.
people put alcohol/drugs/gambling before their family all the time this is a mental illness that needs treatment before it gets to this point
She didn’t even try to make the process work
I don’t think she means to put her “stuff” first but her extreme fear of letting things go makes her not know what to do with the even the smallest things because she feels it would be detrimental. But, the hubby is the same way. They need to get tougher with her and hubby.
@@user-hx7mi7ml8u the hubby isn't anywhere near as bad as Connie though! He seemed a lot more cooperative, whereas Connie was resistant all the way! They show her a nice, clean house, and she has this look on her face like, "Where's my *things* though?!!!!"😳🤦♀️
Facts
Wasted money on junk. Wasted time on junk
How in the world is your house like that but that’s your job, wow. I get it more when there’s health issues or everyone works but the one person being at home all day baffles me!
My grandparents have hoarding tendencies and my mother also has hoarding tendencies. I’ve been silently throwing stuff out little by little so she doesn’t notice and I’m the only reason why our house looks presentable today and is not filled with useless trash in every room. Sometimes it only takes one person. I hope my comment inspires someone.
Ps. I apply the same tactic in my grandparents house with the help of the rest of the family and their house starts looking more and more livable every month. It’s pretty decent already but there’s still a long way ahead of us.
I'm more proud of the boys, for having a clean, functional bedroom. Let Connie wallow in HER hoard!!
Run, Ed, RUN! You are a nice guy, and you can find a nice, clean woman.
poor kids
I am mad at these parents
Me too. Especially the mom. I know that this is supposed to be an illness but when your kids want to move prematurely because of the hoarding, it's time to wake up. The father seemed to care more about the kids. Mom was more worried about her material things.

@@hadleeparks7343 oh honey, in no world is that woman healthy.
@@hq_FiRE she is now. you wouldn’t know how far she has come.
@@hq_FiRE People who are obese can be healthy and in the process of losing weight. They may not look it, but they are; we as a society are too quick to judge other people and how they're feeling and loving when we really have no idea. With everything she's dealing with mentally, as she clearly seems to be struggling heavily with compulsive hoarding, the depression that likely comes from having a hoarding disorder probably isn't helping with healthy choices. All ok really saying is that being quick to judge when you don't even know the person is harmful and could be wrong.

Can you go live with your father or another relative? No child should be forced to live like that. It causes "learned helplessness." Those boys weren't even allow to clean their own rooms.

The 17-year old sounds 66.
It's funny I am the opposite, Id love for someone to help me clear things out ! It kills me when it's clean and they are disappointed !
I'm on the spectrum as well and could never live in such a place. Just impossible. Don't get me wrong: I love my stuff. But I have very little and keep everything in order at all times.
Me too. I remember asking my teenage sister to please clean the room because it was bothering me when I was 4.

I admit to a perverse fascination with this series I am a committed minimalist, personally). Am I the only one who notices that most of these people are also very obese? And am I the only on who wonders where they get the money to purchase such vast amounts of 'items' AND food? It must be terribly expensive to afford both a food and material possessions (ie, 'junk'). And the all seem to be living on the state dole.
i wanted to be a minimalist coz i move alot but this show has def made me realize that i need to take minimalism seriously!!
Also this is America. Were more than two thirds of our population are obese or oversight. So it part that these people are lazy and don't get around much, mostly lounging around that makes them big and also that the majority of Americans are just fat. That's why you see so many overweight people. As for the kids in this episode, they are probably big because of genetics and the fact that they probably don't make their own food, whatever their parents put the time into making is what they get. Which seems like non since the kitchen is full so it's probably all fast food.
Not to be hating on anyone. It's just that the unfortunate case for Americans.
Lot of take away food and convenience food. Also it’s easy to buy a lot of cheap things. A lot of hoarders shop at discount stores and thrift stores. The hoard accumulates because nothing is thrown out, even packaging.
I completely agree! It's as if they use the mental illness of hoarding to hide the fact that they are just simply fat and lazy!
@@tatertott2390 no that is not what we are saying. Mental Illness us real and hording is real. We've seen some skinny people on this show. I’m an anti-hoarder - I throw things away then realise I need/want them! Lol! 🙃
I know for every single item I give up and later "need" there are another 1000 items I was able to lay my hands on immediately the second I wanted it because I organize and purge. If I hadn't purged then I wouldn't be able to find anything including the one thing I purged and had to purchase again. Instead of buying one thing again (like you or me) a hoarder ends up buying the same things repeatedly because they can't find it when they want it or they forget they own it in the first place. Okay but in her defense I also have (AND LOVE) that pampered chef mixing bowl/ glass Tupperware the lid fits on and its amazing. If she knew where the bottom was and it wasn't filled with bugs? I wouldn't want to lose it either! Its dishwasher AND microwave safe, and doesn't stain with tomato based sauces... you can measure, cook AND STORE IN IT
I'm a Halloween hoarder and I didn't really see stuff in this video that made me believe they were TRUE hoarders of Halloween!! Great vid though, glad their sons are wanting to stay and her husband can finally settle down and get his health in order.
A lot of underlying issues that cause hoarding disorders stem from traumatic events in a person's life - but I also think some people in the comments forget that you can have co-morbid conditions that make the issue of hoarding and its impacts on others a lot worse - e.g. narcissistic personality disorder which usually comes about through traumatic/neglectful upbringing - causing a person to be very selfish and lacking empathy towards others, putting others down to feel better/in control etc. A lot of the hoarders on these shows which people tend not to empathize with seem to have these other mental health/personality issues - but since they occur so early in a person's development, its almost impossible to 'cure.' If you can't fix the personality you can't fix whatever comes with it i.e. the hoarding. I'm just happy for the people who really can make a change.
Those poor kids ☹ how sad ☹
It is hard for me to relate to these people who get so attached to their "stuff". I am not able to function in chaos-but they seem to need it to feel at home. I have other issues I deal with that they might find difficult to comprehend and I always hope at the end that they continue the process. In most of these they are still left with more clutter than I would be able to live with, and I am always concerned in a short while they will be back where they started from. I hope those two boys in this one are able to have some time to grow on up before that happens.
The fact they have names for the worst hoarded spaces proves her lack of interest to change and no respect for the children or each other.
