Omg ok, perfection. I googled the reason why my batter was clumpy was because of the fats and oils not being blended well. I also did this on a budget so in guessing some of the store brand stuff wasn't as rich as it claimed. The changes I made, because I didn't have coco powder. I used NESQUICK. It wasn't sweet. And it was very dense. So it rose in the center and didn't form a perfect line. So I used candy melts and dipped the bottoms of the cupcakes in them making the perfect line and a chocolate coating. I also added fresh banana to my strawberry purée. I made "Sunday" ice cream inspired cupcakes. I'll top with an almond!! Thanks so much!
i loved watching this video...even without trying it out for myself i can tell the recipe is going to be totally yummy...one question tho...why do you add heavy cream to the batter? also what difference would just simply adding cocoa powder to the cake make as opposed to making a liquidy choco mix? thanks!
Hi making a these right now for my Mom. Her birthday is tomorrow. When I mixed my vanilla ingredients they sort of separated and it was like the fat and oils in the mix wanted to clump up? It's all on the oven so I pray they come out decent!! Lol I know they'll taste good but hopefully they'll get fluffy

A good substitute for heavy cream (when you don't need to whip it) is some milk and melted butter! So to substitute it for this recipe I suggest you mix together 3 tablespoons of milk and 1 tablespoon of melted butter thoroughly and then add it to the batter :D

It looks amazing! Now, I am a very experienced baker and from prior knowledge, you should keep mixing your butter and sugar mixture that you made in the beginning of the vanilla batter. If you do not mix it until the little balls are gone, you may end up with a big bite of butter in that part. Otherwise, it looks yummy!

Well can I make the frosting but do I have to do that same step can I just make the frosting and just add food coloring well I know u add the strawberries for flavor but will it be almost be the same 😜
what if I don't have time to simmer the strawberries? can I just blend and strain? I have a wedding cake to make and everything is down to the last minute...
