    It would be a dream come true for the Blackhawks to land Maklin Calibrini, and I’m rooting for it to happen.... In a way, it would be like Toews and Kane when they came in the league…

      and totally worth watching. Being old school Hawks fan, Pat Foley saying Bedard reminds me of when I was a kid and him announcing Savard. So it's kind of a full circle feeling to me. Let's get Celebrini

    I had him on my fantasy team.......... then he started out slow. I watched his games and he didn't look like he was going to break out at all. He looked overwhelmed. So I dropped him (can't really wait on rookies to breakout in fantasy because every point in needed. Can't hope they are going to breakout. Now, someone that has had great seasons but starts off slow. Sure. Rookies, even 1st overalls can wash out too easily to hold them). 2 weeks later, he looks perfectly fine and starts scoring.............................. Now, fml.

    Jesus Christ the kid scored an overtime goal. People need to fucking relax. You'd think the kid just cured cancer with as many headlines as there are about the Blackhawks overtime win. Then again I guess Chicago doesn't have much to be happy about these days. 😂😂😂😂 Look at McDavid in Edmonton. One man can't make a hockey team.

  • @gomezfriesen

    It would be worse for someone like Connor to not be given multiple great players to play with, and be stuck never winning the cup, year after year, never to be be able to fully lead a team to victory because they can't put together the defense or goalies that can match his caliber... oh sorry, which Connor are we talking about here?

  • @Borodin410
    @Borodin410 8 месяцев назад +1

    Bedard costs the team more goals against and losses than he offers in goals and wins.

    • @jmtlpt
      @jmtlpt 8 месяцев назад +1

      So it's Bedards fault and not the rookie dmen? What are you talking about?

    • @Borodin410
      @Borodin410 8 месяцев назад +1

      The center has to get back first to help the D or they get easily overwhelmed by opposing forwards. Bedard is notorious for being the last man back. His line is always playing short-handed when he's on the ice, because he just floats and looks to pad his stats. So yes. When your #1 center is a floater, you're gonna suck. @@jmtlpt

    • @jmtlpt
      @jmtlpt 8 месяцев назад +4

      @@Borodin410 lmao Bedard does not float. This is the same argument against Patrick Kane, albeit that was actually debatable. Hell Bedard even had a hit last night, he has a decent forecheck for an 18 year old kid. He may not be a Selke contender yet but who was as a rookie? Quit hatin.

    • @Borodin410
      @Borodin410 8 месяцев назад +1

      Don't have to be a Selke contender to play the fundamentals. Bedard refuses, and has his whole minor league career. He admits to ignoring the bench. He's always getting caught up ice, always the last forward back, and always looks confused in the D zone.
      Players like him usually get weeded out, but the NHL has earmarked him as the new marketing plan so, here we are. Dude pads his stats every night while his line plays short and casuals eat it up because the NHL tells them he's the next Ovechkin. LOL. @@jmtlpt

  • @darthollpheist1156
    @darthollpheist1156 8 месяцев назад

    As good as he is. Too bad his career is going to be wasted like McDavid's unless he goes somewhere else. He would be a great fit in Philly. Imagine him and Michkov playing together. 2 best picks in the daft on the same team.... that would be awesome to see. Hopefully Michkov does well. He'll be there next season. He's already a generational talent in the KHL and the other leagues he's played in. I just hope the smaller ice doesn't mess him up.

    • @ppnibbler
      @ppnibbler 8 месяцев назад +1

      His career is not going to be wasted? The GM for the Blackhawks actually has a plan and they’re stacked with prospects. Michkov is not generational, please don’t throw that word around. He’s a great player, but nowhere near generational. Bedard is however, and will have an incredible career in Chicago

    • @colnando
      @colnando 8 месяцев назад +1

      LoL talk about wasted ! Philly... bahahahaha

    • @darthollpheist1156
      @darthollpheist1156 8 месяцев назад

      @@ppnibbler There are tons of scouts that actually rank Michkov higher than Bedard. He's already broken one of Ovi's records. The only reason he went 7th is because he told the other teams that he wants to play for The Flyers. So, no one else picked him.
      And yeah...... no..... as much as I like The Hawks.... they aren't doing anything. They are a terrible team with no real pipeline. They aren't even close to "stacked with prospects". At least, not very good ones.
      Stop being a homer.
