Pod design very interesting, liked the portal potty seat, essential item. For a VW Caddy if I have seat / bed pod of 500 mm width and a sink - cooking pod on the other van wall of 400 mm leaving an aisle way of 700 mm (new caddy is 1613 mm between walls) would I get a bike like a KTM 390 in for transport

I could get 2 e-mountain bikes in with wheels attached and they were 114cm high at the handlebars and about 200cm long I have since sold the van and not sure of ktm390 dimensions but could be possible sounds like you have a nice design 👍🏻

Hi, please can i ask what length the insert nuts are and the bolt length you use? I want to use a similar system but want to make sure they secure into the ply etc. Thanks

I used M6 insert nuts from screwfix link below they are 20mm going into 19mm ply but rubber coin floor on top of ply was about 3mm thick
      www.screwfix.com/p/insert-nuts-type-d-m6-x-20mm-50-pack/61859
You could use shorter 13mm m6 insert nut below if you’re using thinner ply
      www.screwfix.com/p/insert-nuts-type-d-m6-x-13mm-50-pack/59937
The bolts I used were roofing bolts 20mm m6 so with an m6 penny washer was enough to screw into floor the base of my boxes was only 5mm ply so adjust your bolt length depending on how thick your unit base is

@@HaveVaneXplore thanks, not sure why but i posted this next question a few times so if it appears 3 times, sorry.
Did you buy the 19mm ply and cut yourself or did you manage to find some cut to fit? Cheers

@@willhickman1976 the 19mm ply was already in the floor of the van when I got it the rest I made from scratch but looking back would be easier for the walls and ceiling to buy ready cut and build out units although I did see a company do a c or u shaped flat pack seating/storage for caddy for under £400 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143707403185
and another sliding seat bed for just over £200 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313081260483
