What do you think about double tracking with the same guitar, but in one track you use the neck pickup and in the other the bridge pickup? Would that be ok?
@@fintan8145 i think is a good idea, like choose different amp or microphone, and I think he most important is to play and recording twice the guitar, no copy the track sorry for my english, i am french😁)
4:20 you meant more of the physics of analogue waveform is never gonna be generated the same so it's safer to hard pan them without phasing, because best musicians are able to 1 to 1 play same parts
3:46 just a quick suggestion - if you want to solo tracks inside a folder, you don't need to select all tracks (like you have selected all three tracks (two guitar tracks + folder track). Instead, just solo the folder, and it will only play the sound from the tracks which are inside that folder.
What do you think about just copying and pasting the same track, but move one of them slightly out of time to create a doubling effect? I've seen some people do that, but never tried it myself.
..or copy and paste the original track and add a .40 to .60 millisecond difference in between (and then add an effect/tone//pedal you want to one channel).
really nice guitar tone, what were you using?

they sound very different so I think it depends on what kind of sound you want
You should try anything to see how it sounds

One question kyle, the two separate tracks where you have taken 2 guitar takes, are those channels mono in and mono out? or mono in stereo out?
Mono in or out the purpose is to make is sound stereo with 2 mono channels. :)

disagree, the musician cannot play the piece the same, especially on something like guitar where there is so much physics going on
Thankyou so much🔥🔥
Finally. Thank you!
Cool video, just what I was looking for, thanks!! By the way, that guitar sounds like a Brian May Red Special (or a preset).

To a certain extent, just make sure they're close enough together so it doesn't sound like a botched reverb job
This sounds exactly like our love by bros landreth!
