Sometimes, a skip might do a 360 or something else funny in that situation while conceding the game (and in lesser tournament, the opposing skip might have thrown it through to gently mock Brad for missing the draw for 7). But it seems appropriate to throw the draw properly, not just to the occasion, but to the character of Markku who is an absolute gentleman. I had the opportunity to meet their team while they were practicing at my club when I was only 14 or 15 - they were great guys who took the time to speak with us when they had no need to do so, and I particularly remember Markku being a very kind and friendly person.
