    very good explanation, also pfc circuit high voltage is not used as to output high power as you mentioned, it is used to make the smps behave like a resistive load to cancel the non linearity of the i/p diode bridge, for high o/p currents of more than 800w mosfet synchronous rectifiers are used instead of the schottky diodes.Also please make a video on the smps transformer the wingdings the air gap, & even a half turn or partial turn is important , & how such a small transformer can output such high currents.

    Sir pls make a video discussion of desktop smps particularly branded like cooler master or Corsair,there are three optocouplor in the circuit.The circuit is almost the same mentioned in this video,but there is pwm 14pin ic in the secondary side to control the multiple output voltages,and how it is controlled wanted to know.

    Brother i have smps with active pfc. In pfc circuit, after removing mosfet , gate and source point on pcb showing short , what could be problem.
