very good explanation, also pfc circuit high voltage is not used as to output high power as you mentioned, it is used to make the smps behave like a resistive load to cancel the non linearity of the i/p diode bridge, for high o/p currents of more than 800w mosfet synchronous rectifiers are used instead of the schottky diodes.Also please make a video on the smps transformer the wingdings the air gap, & even a half turn or partial turn is important , & how such a small transformer can output such high currents.
