Tokyo Japanese Food tour at Japan's newly created spot in Azabudai Hills. This is the full tour experience of this location just nestled between Kamiyacho and Roppongi-Itchome station, Azabudai Hills feels like a little modern garden city all of its own. At the heart lies a 6000㎡ central square, filled with trees and flowers, surrounded by 150 shops and restaurants, a full supermarket and even teamLab Borderless. Azabudai Hill's Market is far from your typical Japanese supermarket as it has 38 renowned shops uniquely gathered to offer more than just groceries. These Delicatessen style shops AKA Sozai, include Fried Heaven from Hiyama Wagyu, a butcher with over 100 years of history, wine pairing appetizers created by a 10 times Michelin starred restaurant, Daikanyama Ata, various healthy deli options from Yaoichi, a Kyoto vegetable shop, and even an all-natural Tsukemono Pickles shop with that grandma’s home cooking taste. On the 3rd floor of Tower Plaza, you’ll find nicer restaurants and bars. This place has Yakitori, Seafood Italian, Balcony by 6th, a Thai Bistro, and the list goes on. But today, I’m taking you to Yoroniku, an all private room Yakiniku restaurant that originated in Minami Aoyama so I get my meat on! Last but not least, ya’ll know I had to include this spot, the teamLab borderless museum..I’ve actually featured it before in previous videos, but that was when I it was in Odaiba. I gotta say, even after going a few times in the past, this dynamic museum never disappoints with its more 50 pieces of digital art.

Another great video, but I wish you had shared more of the prices. 😄
I loved Jiro-sama's documentary.
What happened to previous style videos? I have to unsubscribe after this barrage of pure 20 minute ads. Maybe if the last good "Day in the life of X" wasn't from 2 years ago. :/
Sad to see a channel die.
Paolo, I was wondering if you can feature the Tonton restaurant of Honoka Ikeda located at Matsuhidai, Chiba prefecture.
hey Paolo, Im actually curious with expired food in japan. Can you make video for it?
I saw Paolo on the day he was shooting this video and he was gracious enough to let me take a photo with him. A nice man. He captured the area really well. TeamLab Borderless was a highlight of our trip to Japan.
I love that we can hear you speaking Japanese with people you’re conversing 😊
Seems Paolo has a cold but he's pushing through it. Thank you for giving a lot to us. What a beautiful place
Thanks!
You bet!
The architecture is amazing wow!! Japanese architecture is always so stunning to me
I was one of your first subs way back in the day, and I can say, this is one of your top videos
I missed out on these places last time I was here due to my laziness... Thanks for rekindling my desire to go there next time I go with this video! Another awesome video, please rest well over the weekend, have an awesome weekend!
Man! Where was this video when I was in Tokyo last week? My trip was so amazing though! Thanks in big part to you guys! I've been watching and planning since 2019. Keep up the awesome videos!
Watching paolo’s new videos on weekends always give me some extra happiness and relaxedness, especially when having lunch or dinner at home. Now its been a habit for me during weekends for 3 years. Im sure many feel the same like me 😂.
Of course! Here on the east coast it as been a weekend ritual to watch the "A day in the life" series new videos with breakfast. Paolo never misses with these videos!
Same! Always look forward to them on Saturday mornings 🤗
@@pendaco me too !! 😅😅
100% every saturday morning I watch a video while having breakfast xd
You’re laughing, but I don’t see the joke.
This place is incredible.
The sembikiya fruits parlor right next to the borderless had the best melon and bite of fruit I’ve ever had in my life. Highly recommend
You been to azabudai hills ?
@@missplainjane3905 Don't respond to her. She's a psycho. Keeps asking inane questions, over & over again.
i laughed so hard when paolo pointed out the sushi shop and we can hear maiko going "???" and then it says "100% wrong" on the bottom. theyre so funny together 😂
Awesome video as always Paolo. You are true food connoisseur you know all the best spots to eat and drink.
動画内で時々、奥様とのやりとりが入っているのが、良いですね❤
You mean his JAPANESE wife? 😂 Not other ones. 🤣
I am DYING to get a customized dashi. Ten years ago, I would have saved a ton of room in my suitcase for anime figures and manga. Now it's food, ingredients, knives/utensils, snacks and books. What a fantastic episode!
先日は、やま幸 ご来店して頂きありがとうございます😊接客には、慣れているつもりだったのですが…撮影中緊張してしまい 商品の説明不足ですみません🙏 又⁉️ご来店お待ちしてますね😊
17:40 and on... Yep, Japan is at another level!
Paolo’s reactions to the foods with his first bites always cracks me up, his reactions alone IS the compliment to the chefs/cooks LOL! Get it Paolo!!!
I made it to so many of your recommended cafe and food spots, all around Tokyo, from videos almost 5 years old, but not this spot! Just made it to Tokyo Tower and Zojoji Temple nearby, but Creme De La Creme in Roppongi Hills was so worth the visit. It is still there and delicious! Thanks for recommending.
If you’re at Toranomon Hills around lunchtime, there are some restaurants that have takeaway bento boxes/donburi for 500円/ $3 USD. They cater to mostly people working around that are but anyone can buy which I usually do if I’m in that area.
I love Japanese culture and lifestyle and food all is beautiful and delicious looking thank you for sharing your videos you are amazing keep up with your amazing presentation of Japanese culture
This guy is not any jap.
My husband and i were there, in April, but didn't begin to find all the places you explored. Thanks for the deeper dive!
They will definitely carry your hot sauce one day! have to keep dreaming big or keep up your hopes! The architecture is visually stunning, so much design went into creating it and it is wonderful. Of course, all the food looks so wonderful too! Thank you for sharing with us!
5:20 The custom dashi blew my mind! I want to go! Thanks Paolo for taking us on this journey!
Thank you for another awesome video
But get well soon Paolo
Its next level in Azabudai Hills. The best of the best is here. From specialty fruit, Spanish Jamon, tempura, sushi, caviar and so much more. A simple perfect baguette with freshly cut smoked ham and Hokkaido butter, the perfect time to eat your cheesecake, to a caviar sturgeon specialty shop it is an elite food destination. The details to air condition ducts in the marbled floors, hand rendered walls, curves and angles in every direction you look, this is a beautiful building.
Only problem is the seating areas during summer. So much room and really nowhere to sit down and eat. Only a handful of tables inside for such a massive area, you will have to sit in the soaring heat of Japan and watch your beautiful food get destroyed by the heat.
Love this since day one I watched your vlogs, you’re an OG Japanese content creator we love, keep on doing quality and great contents- Love and support from- Manila, Phils.❤❤❤
This seems like a very high end place just looking at the surrounding retails shops
> thanks for this extensive video Paolo. Azabudai Hills is on my calendar for my next visit to Tokyo, spring '25. I went to TeamLabs Planets this year and was amazed. Borderless looks equally fantastic - Wolfy had fun, so i'm certain i will too. The many food shops will keep me there for quite a while ~
Paolo, your videos are so interesting and informative, thanks.
Please show more Wolfy and Wifey!!! I love seeing them!! Loved this, makes me want to visit Japan. I've never really wanted to until I started watching your videos. Hugs!!
Wow Japon never disappoints!!! Great video thanks for sharing you are living the life!!!
Love the videos! Keep it up!
Thanks! Will do!
It's always great weekends, when Paolo drops a new video! Thanks
I love this video. I can't wait to see the one where you went camping with his grandparents.
I didn’t know that there were so many shops in Azabudai hills!! Thank you for the great video, keep up the great work! My 🎓
that place looks amazing
Early as always and i know this will be a great video 🔥❤️❤️
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@PaolofromTOKYO Another amazing video keep it up love your work/videos ❤
It's so extraordinarily clean 😱
I mean it is a brand new mall/development
Finally some touristy info! I miss that. Thank u Palo
Japan has some awesome places to explore!
I love the "Lab," so much fun regardless of your age. Wolfie was definitely having a good time. I think the shopping area was very, very posh and most likely hard on the wallet. I wonder how much the meal and the dashi were.
I think It's pretty cool,I mean a normal person isn't there everyday so I think It's ok to spend good money there and get some souvenirs and try good food!
Yes the market/cafes are all luxurious, we didn't buy anything even though we were starving cause everything was expensive lol
That museum is so cool.
Yes, new video today 😊
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@PaolofromTOKYO yup 😊
The places you visit and the food in Japan are so inspiring. I wouldn't even know where to go to eat first if I ever landed there.
Japan looks great! ⭐
Thank you Paolo Maiko and Wolfie I will definitely include a visit to these spots when I visit Tokyo.
Thank you for your hard work 🙏🏼
Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧
I'm so enamoured with Japan
It's one of the best places on Earth for food and culture. Try to visit before the Yen rebounds 👍

That TeamLab experience looks awesome!
So many fun things to do I need to get to Japan.
Thanks Paolo. Japan seems terrifying and beautiful at the same time. Perfection has a price
Wow! I would love to go to Azubudai Hills and Team Lab. Thank you for featuring them! 🙏
At about 1/3 your video, it was too much "Herb Medicine" & after my 1st wife passed, not doing that again. I do love your videos, epically with Wolfe :-) Family has a greater power over everything.
I work right across the street from Azabudai Hills, and my daughter goes to the British International School attached to Azabudai Hills.
100% added this to our Japan trip! We're going to visit after going to Team Labs Borderless!
Love your videos! Looks like an amazing place to visit
WOW! What a magical spot!!!!!!😃😃🤯🤯🤯🤯🤩🤩
What an amazing complex. We had something similar years ago here in Melbourne called Daimaru, only on a much smaller scale. Much, much smaller.
I visited all these places earlier today. Thanks for putting it out this morning. I highly reccomend the Dashi amd Sashimi places mentioned. Also, there are other cool places. Just make sure to walk around
More proof that Japanese can make tea from anything
Planning to visit Tokyo soon and this seems like a must visit. Thanks Paolo!
Thanks for sharing your travel experiences. What wonderful sharing. ❤ 11:42
I wanna go to the dashi store so badly! One can definitely spend a whole day here. Well done Paolo and Maiko! Also... what amazing timing to have the museum to yourselves!!! 🎉❤🎉
Paolo I was shocked you actually speak Japanese pretty decently like way better than some dude like abroad in Japan or Anton in Japan
Just put this on my bucket list. Thank you so much for your videos!!
Awesome Place , It's now on my list . Thanks Paolo
That’s shopping center looks so beautiful feels like you would be getting such high quality and pay so much money for it. But you’re not really which is so nice. A new place on the list of places to go in Japan
Nice video, so wonderful of your wife to laugh at your jokes! 😄
Enjoy your video. A lot of good information will be visiting soon. Thank you.
the amazing shopping center comes at a price. in reality what he showed you would probably cost $300-400 per person, if you have this to spend on a shopping day this place is for you.
Including the cicada sound effect when talking about watermelon 😂 but yeah that's what tranquility is all about 🏕️
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 WOW ... That light exhibition looked amazing
I’m definitely checking this place out when I come over there in September.
Amazing place!! 😱🤩
That can be an alternative for big aquariums.
Wow Paolo you video really impresses me, it’s beautiful. Thank you very much 🧐🤩👍🏻🆒👏
I missed these types of videos (along with the Kyoto one previously)! :)
This came in clutch paolo. I'm going there in a few days.
Excellent video, Paolo.
I had the best strawberry shortcake of my life at one of the cafes there - Nihonbashi Senbikiya Main Store.
I want to visit so badly!
Amazing!!!
Not gonna lie, wolfy's t-shirt design is dope.
Wow… how did you get Borderless to yourself… that’s amazing. So blessed.
I want to know Paolo’s secret too!
I like the light exhibit
I'll be in Japan in November. Now, I've two more spots to visit. thanks
Love all you're shows!!!
Looks sublime~
Thanks Paulo, just went here 9/21 because of you! Got your numbered dashi, got your stewed tuna inigiri, and some goodies from the grocery store to eat outside in that beautiful garden area.
🍣 Tokyo really needs more places to sit. Never understand why its this way
Gotta check this place out one day.
These videos are heartwarming 😊
Wow the custom made dashi shop was so cool, I'll need to pay them a visit.
Thanks for sharing....you bring such joy to your work. ❤
Hey man, you don't sound good. Your health is more important than making a RUclips video. Take it easy and don't worry about it for now.😊
I thought he was sounding sick too. And the odd metaphors made me worried maybe he still had a fever going. )=
Not just his health, but also all of the people he’s going around
1:40 he doesn't look sick here, does he? Might be the Mike and some outdoor echo issue
@@Equ1n0x88 he kind of does look sick, he’s very red around his nose as if he’s been blowing it a lot recently
D'fuck 😂😂😂
Oh perfect I'll be in that area for Teamlabs borderless in september. Thanks for the recommendations
i went here about a month ago. IMO it is, by far, the most expensive foodie destination in Tokyo. That supermarket is priced like Erewhon in LA (a very high end and expensive grocery) It's really nice though and worth a walk through at least
very amazing
Great vlog.
I love your content ❤
