- This is one of the first discourses recorded in the ashram last year. Om Swami is in his own bhava while narrating this discourse. More than one subject has been expounded in the discourse. It talks about the nature of a true devotee and devotional service. The essence of the topic is purification of the self and devotional service. Relevant verses from Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana have been quoted shedding light on the reality of material world. A comparison is made between bhakti and gyana. The process of acquiring bhakti and living life according to the vedic dharma has also been elaborated.
