    Bonjour. Sunday mornings in Paris are my favorites. Very enjoyable seeing how you plan and prepare your dinner. Is that the Boulavard Richard Lenoir market you were shopping at? I lived in a 5th floor walkup apartment at 13 rue de Lappe and would shop at that market place. One of the biggest in Paris if I am correct. Have a great day. Joe and Gigi.

      @@easyfrenchdiet thank you for your quick reply. The Bastille area is a wonderful location with many shops, cafés and proximity to Le Canal Saint Martin. Lovely area for a walk.
      I think there is also an excellent bio marketplace on Blvd Raspail. It’s especially nice on Sunday mornings. An easy walk from the Latin Quarter.

    so glad you are posting again. love it! i usually fast unintentionally on food shopping days, like you did on this day. im lucky enough to live in an area where there are so many farmers markets, and many sell organic produce or grass-fed pastured meats. been shopping with one farmer for years. they even sell a different variety of chicken, unlike what they mass produce and sell in stores. the flavor of the meat that i buy is amazing. hopefully you have a meat farmer that you trust. thanks for the video.

    Your food looks amazing! Thank you for sharing the market and your cooking with us. :) I've never used tarragon unless been in a mix of spices, so I'll have to try it to see what the flavor is. I've also never rubbed olive oil on a chicken or added spices inside the chicken, only on the top. Two more things to try!

    • @easyfrenchdiet
      @easyfrenchdiet  2 года назад +2

      Hello. yes the tarragon makes the chicken taste great. You can also put thyme or any kind of herb You like. The olive oil makes the skin crispy and very tasty. Thanks for watching! Have a nice day.

      google says they are periwinkles and a type of sea snail. you see the shells easily along the seashore. i wouldn't say they are nothing like land snails though. they both have a shell and soft boneless body.

    • @easyfrenchdiet

      Hello, thanks for watching. Not really. I voluntarily reduced my own carbohydrate intake in an attempt to improve migraines that I had. Also the type of meals and dishes are French but not the low carb aspect. French eat bread at every meal for instance. Have a nice day.

    Hi! Thank you for your videos, they are so interesting to me. I’m curious, hoe do you eat the small grey shrimps? Do you peel them before serving them, or people peel and eat them at the table?

    • @easyfrenchdiet
      @easyfrenchdiet  2 года назад

      Hello, in fact I put them as they are on the table. We just remove the head and the tail and eat them with bread and butter. I have never seen anyone peel them. It's so small that I don't think it's possible. Thanks for watching! Have a nice day.

    Ma'am, I love this video! In Brazil it is not common we use the Tarragon, but through your video I had the idea about having a little vessel planted with. The sauce I do similar but I like adding some squeezing some Lemon.

    I can see that it is true that French people spend a lot of their income on food. 🤗👍

    • @easyfrenchdiet
      @easyfrenchdiet  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hello. I don't know for other french people but for me buying quality is very important and indeed I spend a lot in groceries as I live in Paris where food is quite expensive. Eating quality food and balanced meals is in my opinion the most important thing to be healthy with exercise. In addition I enjoy eating and cooking. Have a good day 😊

  • @catea2551
    @catea2551 7 месяцев назад

    looks like a high fat animal based moderate protein and lower carb diet. i guess it's a French diet because the quality of the ingredients is about 1000% better than many places unless you are willing to spend a great deal. it would be interesting to know the cost of the items and what is spent on food.

    • @easyfrenchdiet
      @easyfrenchdiet  7 месяцев назад

      Hello in fact I eat a lot of proteins, moderate fat and pretty low carb (between 50 to 80 per day, sometimes a bit more depending on what I want to eat). Yes it's in France, I live in Paris. Food is expensive in Paris but I don't mind spending on food as for me it's very important to eat well for my health and my well-being, plus I enjoy cooking and eating. Have a nice evening.
