Yup it’s awesome I remember when i played through it for the first time and the guy hit Ellie and I was like oh I’m gonna get you for that and then that beautiful kick to the face…was exactly what I had in mind :)

I'm a little disapointed that we didn't get Joels particular brand of ultra-violence for this scene in the show
Same here. The show is making Joel feel bad for killing people which is not accurate to his character at all.
They completely nerfed Joel's character. Also wtf did they do to the "Hunters"? Complete garbage, and don't even get me started on that woman leading them? She doesn't give a leader vibe at all

Hell we barely even got a Joel in the show... love Pedro pascal, great actor.. not a great fit for Joel Miller though. Honestly would have loved to see Karl urban (Billy Butcher from The Boys) casted as Joel. He would have nailed that particular role IMO
@@GeoffGorman08Karl Urban would've been great. I understand that they tried making Joel older and more vulnerable in the show but we needed at least a couple of scenes of him kicking ass.
This still gives me chills. Even after playing it for myself just watching gives me chills. This game is amazing

Yeah man, I completely agree. I don’t think that the show is bad but I hate the changes they’ve made to Joel’s character in terms of brutality. Like you said, they nerfed him a lot

@@tylerthormton424the car crash was sick but I wish they kept in the part where Joel stabbed the guy’s neck and then kicked the other guy and smashed his face in order to save Ellie. It just shows how brutal Joel can be when he is protecting the people he cares about. That’s one aspect that they haven’t shown much of in the show. My only problem with it but that’s just my opinion.
@@danthechiefsfan8822 couldn’t agree with you more. You see those brutal moments in the game where Joel goes into a frenzy to save Ellie. Hopefully see it in the show in these later episodes
@@tylerthormton424 definitely likes the game better but they did a good job with the actual crash I thought the episode would’ve been a little more fast pace but I know they’re saving it
