Onewe are amazing! Like their whole discography is so damn good! Yonghoon the vocalist with the falsetto you liked is hands down one of the best vocalist I've ever heard! You gotta hear him live trust me its an experience!

I first got to know them in late 2017 when they went on a survival show for struggling/underrated groups. They were the only band there, the other people were all singers+dancers, and the show was made to in the end make a group of singers/rappers who dance for a year to hopefully give them and their groups exposure when they go back. So since they aren't trained dancers they really struggled (surprisingly the one on the keys made it into top 18 which stood out to me). Back then they went by a different name, i dont even remember what it was hahaha but they didnt have a lot of songs and they mostly just performed covers on the street. So I didnt get into them, but I did remember their names. And then a year later they signed into a kinda ok known company (they have a popular girl group that made them known). The keys twin brother is also in that company in a 6 member boy group called Oneus (they sing/rap and dance) and the band started releasing and rereleasing songs under their new name Onewe. And to be honest when i checked them out again their songs weren't really my style. I always preffered either bubble gum pop to sing along to or a rock band to scream along to hahaha and their songs were just too calm for me. But then at the end of 2019 I started taking an hour and a half long daily walks. And I randomly decided to listen to one of their ful albums since i usually only checked out their title tracks. And i fell in love. Suddenly they were exacly my style and I spent basically every day for an hour listening to them hahaha The album that Aurora is from was my most played album of the year hahah and even when they release new music now and I listen to it and I am like: "am i dont think this is my style" well.. i go for a walk and suddenly that is exacly my style and I listen to it every day for months hahaha

this song is their guitarist kanghyun's song I think u'll like their songs "parting" (kinda the same vibe), "star", " universe_" (rock ballads, incredible ones), "ring on my ears" (love it), just listed some of their songs that have an mv imo onewe does various genres not only alt rock/pop rock, they sometimes can become quite jazzy, then they can do smth rnb ish, then they deliver us the softest ballad etc etc and I love them for it so if u'll react to them more don't expect always the same things, just in case I saw ppl already told u that onewe is pronounced like one+we also cya is pronounced like key-ah, not see-ya ty for reacting! glad u liked them) it was interesting to watch also hope u'll watch their live performances too, they are so good live

(Part 2) The reason why this track is a B side is not because of Onewe choosing another song but because of their music label picking what they believe would fit more the taste of South Korean mainstream audiences. If South Korean Rock bands want to be successful in South Korea they have to play songs with a softer Pop sound or do soft sounding ballads. The harder the Rock sound the less popular it will be in South Korea. Many of the songs that South Korean bands really love end up buried as B sides because they are too Rock. This is why the B sides of a South Korean band should usually be treated as the main course since too many times who the band really is found there. If South Korean bands want to avoid all of this they have to either go indie and promote outside of South Korea like Rolling Quartz or Bursters or they have to go to Japan to enjoy total artistic freedom like FTIsland.

That’s a crazy suggestion. It’ll either fly well or miss the mark. Many rock and metal fans have a vendetta against the electronic and hip-hop genres. However, Guerrilla is a fantastic piece of fusion music, so who knows how it’ll be received.
