Cellulite is a female secondary sex characteristic (although it obviously can be found in men). It has to do with the way our bodies network fat. Female bodies create a sort of mesh network to support fat and it can present as delightfully lumpy. More than 90% of women have visible cellulite, but all women store fat in this manner.
Men's lattice pattern collagen threads holds subcutaneous fat in a way that, when the skin expands because of the fat storage, it expands evenly. Women's "pockets" expand unevenly when we accumulate fat, creating that 'orange peel' effect. Our storage patterns mean we can healthily store more fat than men. Like a woman with 25% body fat is 'average', and a man with 25% body fat is 'chubby'. Because of this women tend to be more hardier in times of stress or famine. Its also one of the reasons why our bodies can survive pregnancy, which is a massive energy demand on our system.
So many on-going scientific studies are happening right now on the topic of cellulite, but is there a 'treatment' for cellulite that works? In my opinion? No. BIG no. The overwhelming majority of cellulite treatments are mere bull**** to separate you and your money. It's a secondary sex characteristic, it's perfectly normal and very likely it's never going away no matter what you do. You could work out 5x a day every week and STILL have cellulite. Someone giving a person sh** for having cellulite is akin to giving them a hard time for have skin.
TL;DR Love your skin, love your body, love your cellulite. It means you are a badass surviving machine shaped by millennia of evolution. And I think that's f*cking cool.

Jil you inspire me to embrace a side of me i push down so much.
I've always tried being a tomboy since i grew up around guys, and girls, and i always felt as though i had to be tough for everyone i know, so i didn't have the time to be girly. But you open up a side of me i yearn for so much, this colorful, glittery, happy, pink beautiful personality that you bring out of me makes my life so much happier and makes me feel so much more like myself. There's no other channel like yours, even the other colorful channels could never compare to your girly happy lovely and calming feelings in your videos. Every time i have anxiety attacks or i feel lonely, your videos put so much color in my heart. When I used to cut myself on my arms, I never did it hard enough to to make raised scars. The last time I ever cut myself was on my leg. I used a surgically sharp blade and it took months to heal because I didn't get stitches like I should have. I haven't cut myself since then but I do still struggle with depression and anxiety. it's been a couple years since I have cut myself and I am proud of how far I have come especially since I can't afford to see a professional for my mental health. Every day is a battle but I try my best to make it. I hope the best for everyone who struggles as well!

I know this an old video but I wanted to add some cheeky little science! Cellulite is the result of tight connective tissue pulling at the top layer of fat ( has to be there we all have it) And causes that 'puckering' !

Popples never got super big like Care Bears, and the Netflix reboot is not good at all in my opinion, but the old Popples plushies are cute, and their pompom tails helps them fit in with the Party Kei aesthetic.

Ahhh this makes me want to get a tattoo to cover up my scars and I really want to but like,,,, I’m also only 14. I’ve been clean since December 19 (before then it was since August, and before then it had been almost a year) and I’m trying to stay clean for longer and hopefully the rest of my life. I know that once I’m older and able to I will definitely get scar cover up tattoos. You really are an inspiration to me because I’m currently trying to drag myself out of anorexia since I’m not totally out of the mindset but I am aware of what I’m doing to my body + I’ve been dealing with my depression practically since I was born due to the fact that i inherited it from my mom and yknow genetic stuff and other mental illnesses I don’t wanna get into because it upsets me and it’s beside the point. I NEVER CLICKED SO FAST, HOLY GUACAMOLE! Now I really can't wait to get my next tattoo. I have a relatively low pain tolerance as well (for example: my upper arm hurt so bad that I couldn't move my arm for about 2 to 3 days...) but my tattoo artist is reeeeaaaaally fast (my whole upper arm took him 1 1/2 hours, can you imagine that?! and there's not a single weird line!) so I can sit through long sessions without problems. You did really well, Pixie! Proud of you! I've been struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, cutting, and anxiety for a very long time. Im turning 16 on the 21st and wow this has inspired me. no one ever talks about their feelings this way and it helps me understand my own. I really am proud of you. Also I'm totally seeing celebration of stretch marks and cellulite in the Instagram body positive community recently and i love it! I noticed recently that i have stretch marks and I've learned to appreciate them and it wouldn't have been possible without body positivity. I look at my thighs and think "wow how cute!" Instead of trying to hide them and i think that's beautiful.
