Having flashbacks to BR Hustlers right now.

As soon as I hit the face of Slickrock, I had the same thought. The sit-n-spin. The Hustler signature move.

I joined the TRX4 family today. It needs some work, but should be a fun project. The "Rock Tyres" it came with have some of that floral foam I've heard you mention.

I didn't eyeball every set in your new tire racks, but have you run the Ottsix KLR ? I picked up a set on a whim as a set of comp tires. I will be testing all my best tires once i have my class 2 ready for the rocks. What I will run for class 3 ? I have no Idea yet as 2023 SORRCA rules are 5.75"/146mm min.

I have a set of Class 1s, but not in one of the spicy compounds. Then I have a set of the new Trail Spec AIrdowns, but haven't brought myself to go all-in on the CompSpec Class 2s.

Well you already have them broken-in in the “forward” direction. That will immediately hurt their performance in “reverse” since the trailing edges now have less bite since they’re swept to a point going the “wrong” way. Any tire will work worse under those conditions.
Regardless, love your content and willingness to try stuff from the peanut gallery over here!

Actually, the "backside" of a tread bar usually shows no wear at all. The backs of the VERY worn bars on the old Showdowns here look almost new, but like the Pinseeker, has almost no grip mounted backwards.

Right right, they’re feathered over with no wear on the backside, so they don’t have the flatter, larger contact patch that gets worn into the face of a lug.
Love the nuances of a tire that gets better with use.
      Like good jeans

    Pinseeker spelled backwards is Hustler.

Good try by the Rekeesnip's but Pinseekers are the winner in this outing. Incidentally I didn't realize seeing something spelled backwards would remind me of the old Anthrax song, Efilnikufesin 😆

I mean, those bars are pretty directional looking to me. But they're even worse in reverse than Canyon Trails, and CTs backwards are BAD.
