Need to build me a hard body rig, I only have lexan body comp rigs. The comps I compete in don't follow sorrca rules or use scale points so I haven't felt the need for one because of the weight added by the hard body but I have multiple comp rigs now so I figure next build I will have to give it a shot. Joe have you thought about doing a hard body build in the future?

What do you mean exactly? i mean they dont all get full scale points but they look legal to me...half tire coverage, no rear steer and so on.
@@gryyta9617 I guess you know it better than I do, it's all new to me these competition rules. It's probably due to the camera's angle of view that misled me.
@@stephanevarin6938 nah man, ive never even held a 10th scale crawler in my hands...just been watching to much videos from Josh and Matt! Yeah, sometimes in the video they look a bit narrow and so but when theyre flat out you can see they are class 1s

Hi joe what type of motor and esc should I get for the axial ryft so it can crawl but still bounce
I use a 1415 castle motor with a 15t pinion, if you had the 2 speed transmission you would be able to put it in low gear and crawl no problem. I think the slate motor would be better suited though, not sure how fast it can go though. Hopefully he will answer! lol Most likely will, he is pretty good at getting back to us fans.

Depends on the comp and the course. I don't believe there is a set amount of gates. Maybe in sorrca comps, we don't follow sorrca rules in the the comps I run in. In my experience usually some where around a dozen give or take.

Nice vid. But damn people really need to make their trucks more different. The amount of pickup trucks was just boring in all classes.
They do that so they can cut the beds down plus less weight on top.
Some drivers were too trigger happy for my taste 😅
It's cheating when winching to a walking stick and not the rocks!
In real wheelin, I've Been known to put my truck in a position that my buddy can winch to if we cant find natural terrain to get hold of. You are always encouraged to wheel with a friend.
In comp, (rc) you don't have the option of winching off your partner's truck, so the stick fills in for that
Not perfect, but there is precedent for it.

But so far, the rules are the same for everyone, and if you don't like how the other kids are playing, you can pick up your ball and go play somewhere else. 😀👍
