- In this video I start with a walk and talk along the site of the Middlewich Canal breach, where in March 2018, the bank collapsed and the canal drained into the river below.
Also, I give an update on how things are going with Amazon Prime, as well as quickly hinting where I'm currently traveling, whilst editing and uploading all 5 seasons of Travels by Narrowboat (TBN), to Amazon Prime.

I started watching on Amazon Prime. I was just looking through and I saw another group of videos by the guys that have The Silver Foxes and wanted to see more. So I did a search for "Narrowboats" and yours came up. In approximately a week and a half I've managed to watch every one up to Season 5. Now I'm going through all the RUclips videos for things I haven't seen. My best friend and I would love to do some traveling on the canals, but we're stuck in the States. So we have to live vicariously through your videos. I hope you and Aslan continue for quite a while. Cheers!

Recently found/watched season one on prime and throughly loved it, looking forward to the next seasons as it’s the best thing I’ve watched in ages so hopefully they won’t be long? Were you serious regarding your bid on the canal beach repair? I assume you were not talking about a tiny 1-1/2 cubic foot DIY backyard mixer, but the real thing -- like large mixing drum on the bed of a real truck. Are you (or were you) really a contractor with a concrete mixer truck? What size? We have some contractors and concrete suppliers operating 14-cubic yard mixer trucks, but around here (North Carolina), due to local roadway weight restrictions, 9-cubic yard mixer trucks are about the largest which can legally be driven over most of the county back road bridges.

Nice update, but can someone please explain what the ring is for on the end of the exhaust stack is for? Its almost always on traditional powered boats and most of the newer ones, especially if they have a traditional design.
Ahhh nice, they've done a good job on that repair. Bloody £3mil though, bliiiiimey. Lucky we have so many generous volunteers eh.
I actually thought for the size of job, the timescale and the work involved, that was on the lower end of cheap - but then I grew up in the building and civil engineering industry.

Sadly I can't find your video series on Amazon Prime on Amazon France which we have an Amazon Prime Subscription
Unfortunately, TBN may not be available on local Prime Video channels outside the UK. At least after several attempts I was not able to find it on my German Prime Video account. The German channel shows many films and series in EN, but only some generic videos about narrowboats. Maybe you can check with Prime about this. Otherwise, it will reduce this revenue stream if you are restricted to the UK, and we poor expats still in the EU will have to do without and feel left out even more in the cold.

Hi Gaz, yes she's due lifting out and blacking soon and an oil change/general fettle and possibly some anodes. Will do the out and in and blacking for a vid on utube.
